I see. Unfortunate, but hopefully the workaround will do the job, but it'd be better if ClickteamFusion updated their control methods to meet demand. This really is a great concept. I love the music and graphics. The controls are really the only thing that hurt it for me.

It's a cool game I just wish it weren't so awkward on controller. Message to ALL devs, please stop using analog stick as default directional control for 2D games. The jump and fire buttons are also reversed from what I'd expect in most games.

Got endings C and B, will come back for A. I liked this, it's an interesting story telling method, and shows what Twine can do with a bit of effort. It took a second to really catch on to how it worked at first, but it kinda fit with the disorientation in the narrative. The audio was great, seamless use of music, Really helped paint a picture along with the narrative. Sound effects might be one notch above comfortable (I wear headphones.) Also, I think I caught a typo during C, "aling." I think it was supposed to be "along."

Once again, pure genius. *applause*

Ah okay! Thanks for the timely replay! Guess I'll give it a try later when I can do it with easier access to my keyboard. But it looks great, are you submitting this to the metroidvania jam as well? Seems like it'd fit in perfectly.

Tried out the windows download version... is there controller support? because it seemed to crash on me at the title screen after I pressed a couple of buttons trying to start it. Also: There was another "Minitroid" a while back ("tech demo" from like 2011, at least that's what the file dates say) is this by chance a more complete version of that one?

Gave it a try because I was looking int TyranoBuilder. Simple, but it seemed to work, the skip dialog option burned through all the text I hadn't read when I decided to stay in bed the second time through and instantly ended the game. The only other thing was the odd placement of the buttons, aside from that the potential is there. I know it's been a while but, good luck if you ever make any others.

I took a look on Steam where the game is also sold, and they seemed to be paying more attention. Unfortunately that last time they spoke up was 2016. They were pushing a driver solution for 360 controllers always going right no matter what, but a good many people get nothing with that solution on top of it not being about this issue. Also there was apparently a boss bug that halted progress that they claimed to have fixed, but4 years later people are still complaining about it. I'm guessing either we'll need to use remapping sofware or just chalk this one up as a loss from an absentee dev. (although someone had to submit this to the bundle.)

Yeah, similar issue here as well. The output log shows it recognizes my controller and will respond on the first button press but after that nothing but the keyboard.
