Thank you for your extensive and thorough feedback!

We had the basics locked and loaded (and many more ideas we wanted to implement) but ran out of time—so we launched it as is.

Can you please provide more detail about the issue you encountered with the SFX & music? Both worked great during testing, and we'd like to dive into the issue.

If (or when) we'll add more features, we will take your remarks into consideration :)

Cheers!

Glad you liked it!

This was our first time trying an RTS game at such a short time, so getting positive feedback about the basics we've laid out means a lot!

We actually have a longer demo level and other units already implemented, but time ran out and there were bugs, so we had to make a decision :)

Perhaps we will be able to fix 'em real quick and upload the more polished demo version.

Appreciate your feedback!

Thank you! We did ran out of time, so your kind words mean a lot, and we most certainly will take this into further consideration :)

Thank you for your replay!

Thank you for your fast and thorough reply! Warms my heart seeing developers like you!

I had most of my trouble (which I can recall) at level 8.

The following breaks the screen and causes the level to restart:

  1. start>w>w>fail
  2.  start>w>d>s>fail
  3. start>d>w>a>s>s>s>d>s>d>d>d>d>w>w>d>fail
  4. start>d>w>a>s>d>w>fail
  5. start>w>a>s>s>s>s>s>fail

(are these because I slam myself into the wall? If so, in other levels it works just fine. Perhaps the level can not be solved with these steps, and so it restarts? Can't tell, but I figured it was worth mentioning, since I found it a bit frustrating considering I can just backtrack my steps)

Teleportation bug:

I can not seem to recreate this, but at one playthrough I teleported constantly between the bottom left purple teleporter and its link at the other side.

Again, REALLY good game. I enjoyed every second of it. Thank you!

Great game! The concept, visuals, and gameplay are pleasing and fun to play around, and music  & SFX are on point.

As others have mentioned, when players rely on trial-and-error to complete a puzzle game—it takes away the fun and its frustrating. Also, although  the concept of teleporting to previously placed down flags is neat, it has little to no use in this game besides a few levels... perhaps in the future more levels could include this cute-simple-fun core mechanic.

All in all, great work!

Honestly? Best game I've played here by far. You guys really knocked it outta the park with this one!

It reminds me of this Flash game I used to play back in the day—"Bloxorz" (was that an inspiration? 😉)—but with a very clever and unique twist of not falling face down, which integrates the theme for this GameJam wonderfully and cleverly.

The puzzles are challenging with a well-paced increase in difficulty—exactly as they should be—and the entire game looks polished and with a few minor bugs.

My only two remarks are:

  1.  It might just be me, but the phrasing in the first level made it hard to realize that I couldn’t go face down XD
  2. Although the chosen camera angle works beautifully, it can sometimes be difficult to understand the level’s layout from that perspective. Perhaps allowing the player to move the camera around (anchored around the Y-axis and freely on the XZ plane) would make navigation a bit easier.

If this ever becomes a full game with more features (and there are plenty you could add), hit me up! I’d gladly be the first to wishlist it lol.

Splendid work! 👏

I REALLY liked playing this game! It is well put together, and the concept is very unique. The theme is beautifully integrated into the game, and the art choice as a pixelated 2D game seals the deal for me.

I did find the controls a bit challenging, though; and the story at the start -- although  it definitely sets the tone for the rest of the game -- is a bit too long for my liking (found myself pressing D and hoping there won't be an extra slide, but that's just me).

Will it ever come out to the market -- for a few bucks -- it is a definite buy from me.

Very well done! 👏
