About the box transparency I will look into it, it's a great suggestion! Thank you for your concern on the renders, I tried making the textbox as non-intrusive as I could. But adding an option to completely hide it would be ok with me.

The side images are inspired by some classic VN's, mainly used to represent the mood in characters, I can however look into making it optional and readjusting the UI. Giving you the option for 2 textbox modes.

I will have it done by v0.1.3!

Also backgrounds do have a purpose apart from traits, events and interactions slightly change depending on what you've picked!
