How it's going. Ignore his outfit in Step 1. He was dressed up for Tamarack's tea party. This is my self insert his name is KK and he likes to draw and play and he's a boy.

I was going to actually color this and maybe clean up the lines but I actually think it looks cool. Maybe I'm justifying my own laziness. I don't know. There's also a couple versions with TV Girl colors. Bro. Why are we TV Girl.

I can't get that one scene out of my head where Qiu picked me up and called me their beloved nutcracker. I need to be put down. However, that isn't within the realm of possibility so I'm just going to draw it.

In step 1 I found her really irritating but when I figured out why she was like that I sympathized with her A LOT. Seeing her being a social pariah in step 2 is also hitting hard as a closeted trans teen who has a lot of social struggles. I hope she's happier in step 3.

ANOTHER THING. I think it's so funny how you can make your MC in denial about their feelings. Like, Qiu is sending hearts and kissy emojis and shit and my guy is like "Wow! It's so great that Qiu sends this to their friends!"

Her and Serenity are both in love with Tamarack ON GOD.

BREAKING NEWS. Transgender person is interested by transgender elements in a game.

Everyone at school reacting to you being trans wasn't something I expected but it was actually really interesting and also realistically anxiety inducing. Everyone knows, and you can't stop that. It's something you had to do, and it will likely improve your quality of life, but it doesn't mean that you won't avoid hardships because of it. And like, who knows what these kids are saying? It's kind of implied that not everyone is great about trans stuff, even if everyone we interact with is. It's just interesting to imagine.

The little interaction about it with Ren was really cute, too; especially because she is trans but hasn't come out yet. Ren is adorable and I love her step 2 design.

I like all of Assistance. Every scene was a gut punch. Tamarack and MC jumping in the leaves together was so sweet and made me really sad. Qiu and MC dancing together, especially when Qiu did the lift, was so cute. Baxter showing up was actually really tense and it upsetting Qiu made ME really upset. The bike ride was both exhilarating and had this underlying feeling of dread. Finding out Qiu was gone was very anxiety inducing. And then the talk between them and MC was really sad and also sweet. Oh my god.

I just really liked the whole step. It was well-written and very interesting. It also kept crashing my tablet because of the rain LMAO. 

You're right! She's a trans woman. She doesn't come out until later, though.

I'm pretty sure she won't be getting one. I could be completely wrong but I think they said there wouldn't be any DLCs for dating side characters. Sorry Renee fans.
