Thank you very much for the kind words! I've heard good things about both, I hope to check them out soon.

lovely! that linework is so graceful, and the spot colour is just *chef's kiss*

I'm glad, I hope you do and I hope it helps

it does, thank you kind friend who I have no reason to suspect of any amount of raccoonishness

I'm sure there's people who'd look askance at me for listing it as a comfort show but every fan I know finds it soothing

ok hey first of all I'm glad to hear things are getting better for you and I hope that continues.

I've still not had time to test your expansions out for myself but I spent a week making pterodactyl noises about them I've given them a thorough reading and I really like them. You personally officially have my permission to pretty them up and publish them here on itch, you can even charge money for them if you want, and I'll link to them from the main project page, just let me know when they're up.

Sidenote on the matter of puns, I don't think I said this anywhere publicly but the title actually came from when I saw "as for me and my house, we will serve the LORD" rendered as an instant pot decal on etsy and parsed "serve" in the sense of "as a meal" instead of "with obedience/deference" (which I suppose Catholics kind of do with the transubstantiation but anyway I took it literally).

Lastly this playtest feedback is clutch actually, thank you so much. This will almost certainly give me the push I need to get back to it, and maybe even finish it for real.

I don't really know how to express to you what a gift you've given me here, I appreciate you.

Hey Mythic is a classic for a reason, I have significant formative memories of that one. I hadn't heard of the Joanna Hawkins deck and now I'm disappointed it doesn't ship to potatoeland, it's lovely.

Hey. Look at me. I'm holding your little face in both my hands. You are beautiful. I am overwhelmed by this and it's the middle of the night. Coherent response to follow. AAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!

so much respect for both, CT is a fantastic independent scholar and Mr Lucian's art is stunning

Thank you! I love PARIAH so much, it's probably my favourite game of the last few years and definitely one of the most beautiful worlds I've ever visited (I think a little piece of me lives there at all times)

hey, I'm glad you liked it! Please by all means let me know what you thought. At this stage I consider it essentially complete apart from the typos, and I just stalled out forever on the art and layout, but it's definitely my most mechanically complex game so I'd especially love any feedback about balance and flow. Homebrew content is very exciting, I did so much research about historical whaling, animal commodities, maths about meat, and more to build this universe, so it's incredibly gratifying that you want to expand it and I'd love to see what you come up with.

it's a DOS file so it should run fine under an emulator, some friends recommended one called WineBottler but obviously I can't vouch for it personally, good luck and I hope you get to enjoy the game :)

yeah I was a bit harsh too, let's just chalk it up to miscommunication .  As far as mac support it wasn't viable for me to implement when I originally made the game but I still have all the project files backed up and I'm looking into what kind of options are available now, unfortunately I can't be any more precise than that

oouuag, no manners

Hey I'm glad you're enjoying it :) This is a kind of a big moment in the story so without spoiling it I can say I wrote a lot of snoopy little bits of flavour text, and all the hints or outright solutions are in there. Any time you're stuck, try snooping more. You don't need to backtrack unless you want to hunt easter eggs; everything you need to advance is on the relevant floor. I hope this helps, if you're still stuck let me know and I'll hint harder.

Hi, about individual judgement w/re content. I sometimes have trouble judging what other people will find messed up or too dark, I'm pretty confident there's nothing age-gate-worthy in this thing I'm working on and most of the darkest stuff is left to inference, but I want to check what happens if a submission is deemed unsuitable, is there a communication process or is it just yeet?

ah ok, yeah it was firefox.  Thanks for the quick response, the updated file is working at this end, everything looks great and I can't wait to play it

Hi, there's an issue with the second page of the pdf, most of the text is missing
