Thanks for playing :) The idea was indeed to have the combat encounters be borderline trivial. Since many people might forget abilities and heroic resources, I thought it would be better as an intro. Regarding the time, all of my sessions took from 3 to 4 hours, but I always took time to explain the rules between the scenes; if you dove right in, this might explain why it took only 2 hours.
Anyway, I'm really glad you liked it! I'll keep your feedback in mind for my future products.
