So I just started playing the android version for only a few minutes and ran into some genuine annoyances. (Android 14 Pixel 7)
This isn't an attack on the dev. I apologize if I come off as harsh.
1: Certain dialogue boxes won't close or advance without tapping them multiple times. In particular the one that happens after seeing the note telling the player to go to the south hallway.
2: The text on the scrolls is hard to read. White text on a nearly white scroll may not have been the best move here. Black text would have been easier to read against the background of the scroll. A black outline around the letters would also work.
3: A basic navigation tutorial is desperately needed at the start of the game. I've seen that this has been brought up before and the dev has stated that there's a combat tutorial early on, However what good is said combat tutorial if new players can't even navigate around to begin with? A short overview of basic navigation would suffice.
4: An options or settings menu would do wonders. I don't know how difficult that would be for the dev but if it's within the realm of possibly then please implement one. It doesn't need to be complex just basic volume options, and text options would be fine.
I'm willing to push through these issues as this game does appear as though it has the potential to be a good time, however a good new player experience is key to player retention. Hopefully this doesn't come off as harsh. Again I apologize in advance if this comes off a mean or discouraging as those would be the last things I would want the dev to feel. Especially since the art and animation is top notch.
