The important bit states "We are currently conducting a comprehensive audit of content to ensure we can meet the requirements of our payment processors. Pages will remain deindexed as we complete our review. Once this review is complete, we will introduce new compliance measures. For NSFW pages, this will include a new step where creators must confirm that their content is allowable under the policies of the respective payment processors linked to their account".
Turns out, Exodus did get hit in the wave of projects being unlisted from the site. You can still access the game page normally, but it can't be found on the Itch search results itself. To be cautious, we've hidden the early access version of the VN, removed the nsfw and adult tags, and disabled the ability to optionally donate. Anyone who did buy it should still have access to it.
This should be temporary until Itch can undo the bs (hopefully). Exodus will still be in development for now until further notice. You can always get updated on the situation via X/Bsky!
Well if you need help, I'd be willing to assist on the story/writing side of things. I'm pretty much finished with the next update for my VN script-wise, so I have time to do stuff on the side!
But you don't have to cut the fluff entirely. Just enough where you can shed some light on the whole mystery like the direction the story was intending to go.
The best solution is to focus on the story instead of the romance stuff, at least for the time being. Once more of the main story is covered, then try returning to the romance stuff for each route. You can still have some fluff moments in-between the serious scenes, but not make it a priority until the near-end of the game :D
Well, the android version is unplayable, as all the characters are just floating heads. Tried contacting Kael on Twitter about it, but no response.
I was replaying a bunch of visual novels I used to play for nostalgia, but coming back to seeing this body-less build....I'm gonna have to skip this until next patch.
Can you play this on the Oculus Quest 2? I know that sounds dumb to use my headset just to play a visual novel game. And I'm aware that someone already made a 3D Adastra project, but I'm talking about THIS game.
