I love the art style, and the time-slowing mechanic is really cool. The disc can be a bit tricky to control, but it's still really fun.

A good platformer with fluid movement and well-balanced difficulty. I would have liked more levels, but it's a really good game anyway!

A very simple little game with a great mechanic that rewards taking risks cause the longer you spin, the faster you go and the harder you become to control. The game lacks a lot of polish, but that's to be expected for a game jam game made by a solo dev. Great game!

The idea is really good, but it's missing a lot of things (animations, better UI...) to make it work. Still, a very good game!

A cool, fairly simple little gambling game. I really like the roulette animation, but my luck is absolutely terrible with this kind of game. Great game!

It was really fun running this very serious laundromat. The game lacks a bit of polish, especially regarding the audio. But honestly, the game is great.

Cool art style and mechanics. I love a good little roguelike, and this one was really great even though I have no luck and never spin any swords XD

The game is really good. I loved the pixel art, and the mechanic of slowing down time when shooting was especially satisfying.

I've spent so much time on this game XD. Honestly, it feels like a game I could buy on Steam. I have two small criticisms: first, in the opening round, it's almost impossible not to lose half your health because you're really underpowered compared to the enemies. And please, make the turrets stop spinning while you're upgrading them cause I used an ice block only build, and I’d each round spend a good minute just trying to click the upgrade button while it was spinning super fast. Aside from that, the game is absolutely perfect.

I have no idea how a game made on pico 8 can be that polished and that fun. The art style is really cool, and the various mini-games keep things from getting boring. Cool game!

There was a custom cursor originally, but I don't know why it would become gigantic when playing in the browser, so I had to remove it. Thanks for playing!

Great gameplay, I love the little Among Us like tasks and the game's art style (especially the main character's) is really cool. Great game!

A fun little game with a fairly original mechanic that fits the theme well. The sounds in the game are either extremely loud or extremely quiet, and sometimes when you land on a platform with spikes underneath, the hitboxes of the spikes still hit you (especially when you rotate the platform). Aside from these two minor criticisms, it's a very good game!

A cute little game with a mechanic that seems simple but is super hard to master. I'm really struggling to control my jumps, and I haven't even managed to leave the city yet (honestly, it's purely a skill issue). I also really like the minimap. Cool game!

The game's art style is incredible, and it's amazing how polished it is for a game jam game. Cool gameplay that seems simple but gets really hard very quickly (just how many grandmas are there in this city?! XD). Excellent game you can tell the whole team worked really hard!

I played a game yesterday that had the exact same mechanic as yours, and my only criticism was that it was impossible to remove bullets from the magazine. Your game does exactly that cause you can swap bullets for others that allow for interesting builds. A really great game, especially for a beginner solo developer! It just needs a bit of polish and maybe better art (though that’s very subjective) for the game to be perfect.

Great concept and really fun to play. I realized this game was serious the moment I heard Gary was a Pokémon card scalper. Cool game!

A really interesting concept that makes good use of the theme, although I think the game really needs a tutorial.

The graphics are incredible, the theme is well integrated, and it is extremely polished for a game jam game. However, the phone is extremely difficult and frustrating to handle at the very beginning, though this issue could be quickly fixed with just a cursor. Very good game!

First of all, whether it's the 3D models or the 2D art, the visuals in this game are really cool, and it’s clear you put a lot of time into them. The gameplay concept is solid, though I feel there are far too many enemies appearing too quickly, making it easy to get overwhelmed very fast. But with a lot of polish especially (regarding feedback on attacks) the game could truly be amazing!

(1 edit)

For a game jam game there is a huge amount of content in the game and its extremely fun. My only criticism concerns the combat, which is very inconsistent. Great game anyway!

Thanks a lot for playing and for giving me such a great review. I have a lot of things to rework, but yeah, scaling and SFX are the priorities. Have you worked on a game that I could play? (I like playing games made by people who leave comments.)

Dude, thanks a ton. Everyone kept telling me the scaling was way too OP even though I didn't think so at all but it turns out the thing with the cap and the spins remaining after death IS A BUG. I forgot to put back the reset function after running some tests, and I just completely overlooked it so thanks again! As for the second bug, honestly, I have no idea, but I’ll look into it. THX FOR PLAYING!

A really great little game with a movement system I love. However, the dash is way too overpowered and makes the grapple almost useless. Very cool game anyway!

Yeah sorry about the music, it's the first time in my life I've tried making music and it's a disaster. Thanks for playing!

This game just needs a little more polish (maybe some effects) to make it perfect, but the core mechanic is excellent and fits the theme really well.

This game was so stressful and I loved it. I’d never seen that mechanic anywhere before and it works surprisingly good. Great game!

A really serious platformer, just the way I like them. The "voice acting" was perfect, and the gradual increase in difficulty was well-handled. Great game!

Gorgeous art style and a cool story. The main mechanic really gave me a hard time because my reaction speed is terrible, but that’s mostly a skill issue. Everything else is really cool!

It took me a little while to grasp the main mechanic, but it's still a good fishing game!

I won't lie to you,I'm so bad at my own game that I didn't think it was possible to get a cap of 10K XD. But thanks for playing.

I love rhythm games, so a serious rhythm game like this was exactly what I needed. Really good game!!!

The main mechanic is fantastic, I have no complaints, other than wishing there were more levels (won the game in 252 steps).

Loved the art and the dialogue! It's a real shame the game isn't finished. Also, I don't know why, but I couldn't turn right during the puzzle. Still a good game !!!

The scrolling and grabbing goes WAY TOO FAST, but a little simulator like this is always fun. Great game!

A really good game that incorporates its theme well. The only issue is the lack of a way to remove bullets from the magazine to really fine-tune a build (if that feature already exists, then I missed it). The game is awesome anyway!

Super simple but really fun. I just love putting everything on red and hoping my money doubles. I found a bug: there's a slight delay between the ball landing in a slot and the result being confirmed, if you're about to lose, you can just switch pages and your money won't be deducted. Good game, though!

The best game I've rated so far. Super fun, incredibly polished for a game jam entry, really sticks to the theme, and is super addictive. GOOD JOB BRO !

A really cool little game. I love the concept of constantly running around to spin the wheels. My only issue is that the power-ups don't last nearly long enough, but the game is still awesome!

I'm usually not a fan of this type of game at all, yet I still found it fun, and I'm surprised by the number of mechanics it has. It's a good game, even though I found it a bit hard (honestly, that's just a skill issue).
