I've just been skimming through the PDF and it looks AMAZING. I already knew it was going to be great from the previews but it is really incredible well done. As someone with ADHD reading through dense TTRPG handbooks has always been a challenge for me and I often struggle to visualize how it would translate to actual play. It also often struggles to hold my attention when there are just blocks of text without clear borders and images to break it up.
BUT with Crypid Creeks the formatting is clear, easy to read, and grabs my attention without overwhelming me. And the examples really really help show how things would run with an actual game. I've been sucked in just from skimming through the document.
The work they put in to make this accessible has really paid off and does not go unnoticed. They set a really high bar for other ttrpg publishers and I really hope it inspires them to put in the kind of work Hatchling Games did here. I am so hyped to read through this fully and bring it to my table.
