I can't believe I didn't notice these details earlier, but without spoiling much for anyone else:

- If that blue haired kid in the wizard hat is gonna be a character in the game, then he seems reaaaaaally suspicious based on what the teaser video shows

- I was able to figure out that the jumbled text in that video actually translates to...something very eerie, let's leave it at that

Well, I came across it like a week ago, not several years ago. Personally, I think the premise is very interesting, and the fear of the unknown would be even higher for first time players who haven't seen GHE before, but if life is just too busy for you at the moment then you don't have to get back to it. At least COVID's nearly gone now.

Guess this got abandoned by the dev. Too bad; an actual GHE fan game would have been awesome

Does this have jumpscares? I liked gazing out into the voids, along with the ambience, but I kept getting the feeling some sort of monster was about to pounce on me, which made me chicken out before being able to play through the whole thing.

I really love the ambience in this. Too bad there's only a few minutes of exploring you can do.

When you mentioned pits it gave me an idea. Adding in very rare but huge chasms (sort of like the one in this video) could be a good way to scare people with megalophobia

I liked it a lot; very quiet and eerie. One thing I hope we'll eventually see in this demo is an area that gives off megalophobia vibes (like that one room with the giant circular pit).

I wonder what this giant structure is? Some sort of alien art museum?

Will there be an actual texture of some kind for the grass? As in, a blocky one like in Minecraft? I'm asking this because the bright green color it has right now is a bit uncomfortable to look at.

So far, I only have one minor complaint. The distance at which ruins spawn should probably be a bit further from the player, as many of them seem to suddenly pop into existence only a few hundred feet away. And increasing that distance might also allow for much larger but much less common types of ruins to be included, like some super long bridge/wall etc. that takes the player several minutes to reach the end of.

This looks pretty good for something made by just one person!

Out of curiosity, will there eventually be a tropical biome?

This is quite entertaining but how come there isn't a North America or South America map?

Ah I see, so that means the September build is the one coming out today?

Is the October build the one that's supposed to be publicly available later today or is the public build always several months behind?

Hopefully 0.3.2 will be fully ready within the next few weeks (?). Multiplayer will change things a lot.
