Just started this game and immediately got Grindcraft nostalgia haha. It's not even that similar, but this system of working out resources and what to craft brings back memories. Really love the hexagon system too, great work!

Really fun game! A simple concept but filled out really well, surprised how short it was though. Even so fun as heck!

I actually managed to get the secret ending on stream! I've mastered that attack cus of some info I got from this thread- apparently the orb doesn't just spawn randomly along the blaster's beam, it spawned in the position your soul was in when the blaster spawned in. That means it's better to stay to the edges of the box as much as possible.

Yeah but it's still not full screen.

Move very little. Always focus on the Z that's moving towards you, and only move away from it as much as you need which is really only about the height of your soul.

Many times, trying to go for the secret ending.

Agreed. It's that one attack that makes it excruciatingly difficult to get the secret ending. Every other attack, while some are really hard, is still pretty fair, but good god that attack is such rng bs that getting past it twice in a row is aggravating. 

It was very fun! Again not sure if I'll stream the horse hack because I'll probably need to do a separate stream time slot with my current schedule, but seeing that my stream actually butterflied into boosting this hack for a bit is awesome and I'd love to help again!

Aaah so that's how that happened. Imma be honest this hack was really confusing in general and it was hard to get my bearings, even after playing it so I can't even recall how I got that glitch to happen lol. And honestly yeah, it just felt like the mansion wasn't fleshed out enough and given enough alt dialogue, plus with the glitch I was so confused. It was still really fun though, and cool to see how much you were branching out!

Pft I remember the person who said that about the dad and kids thing. Non fullscreen mode would be extremely appreciated thank you! Also yeah holy crap that eating noise was really gross. As someone with misophonia it wasn't a pleasant experience to be perfectly honest.

Heya! Just finished streaming the hack, and both me and the chat had no idea what was happening lmao. Definitely the biggest hack you've made so far, and there was a lot to look at. Definitely some scary bits, and frankly I'm still working out how many layers there are to it lol. Guess I wasn't expecting something this crazy after the set story Captured Canyon had.

Ok now playing the Ladies song. Claire dialogue still unchanged but it's kinda funny how she complains about it being loud this song when honestly this song is pretty quiet lol. Now LG asks Zera how she's supposed to get any ladies (o-o) with Zera ruining the mood lol. Lmfao and I actually impressed Aimolette with my fire beats, we gonna get her over to party! Omg ok LG calling Zera castrated is the single best burn in this hack. Also thought LG wanted to look pretty to impress the guy but guess she likes ladies too. xD

Ok Zera doesn't tell me to come upstairs if I interact with neither the radio nor the doll so that does nothing. Gonna go for true ending with the sugar then so I can see the full pizza dialogue. Ah alright so there is a minor dialogue variation if I eat sugar at the end of the world- oh and the jingle is slowed down and creepy ok. Now to do this 100 times. Does start speeding up like normal tho. And got diabetes! 

Ok pizza lady dialogue just exhausts and keeps ringing, makes sense. Poor woman had to get past wormholes to get here oh no- Pft LG calls Zera a turd demon if I try to go to her room on the true route. Heh you comment on my insane sugar consumption now. Guess there's no winning huh?

Tried turning off the music in between phone calls, but it seems to reset back to the normal dialogue. Disappointing, but fair. 

Ok went into the void- er, chasm- er, canyon? At least you stay on brand lol, but yeah found you hunkered down in the void. Nice hints to the music changes. Love how on the revisit your cryptic and mysterious security system has failed you and LG starts to become an annoyance. Also demons hating music, a nod to the true ending perhaps?~ Pffft ok you do just lock me in, RIP. Welp time to troll pizza girl. Aw damn, I picked up the doll after turning on the radio cus I didn't think it'd matter and wanted to check the radio after, but you actually coded in dialogue for that! Pizza girl's gone- and the door's still locked! Lemme redo that then- 

Ok first went to the basement and yeye you have different dialogue! I guess it is lonely in the void but you broke into my house- after locking me in it? Pfft and the awkward convo of Aimolette having to open it from the outside. You also mention out meeting in the bonus room so that's neat, and if I complain about not being a dog I get spoilers! >:D

Because of the first dialogue I tried going out to the void to meet you with the music on from the start and yes it's different wow! Lmao LG and you, partners in pissing off demons with music. And then it got awkward again oh no. Same dialogue if I go back tho, but cool!

Finally actually check out the basement before going in the kitchen- yeah okay figured as much since the "secret you missed earlier" is you in the void and you've holed up there, but the basement is just normal before going into the kitchen. Well, actually it's still being destroyed as reality crumbles around it, so time for some last bits of dialogue! Yes LG I will inspect all the void boxes and you cannot stop me! It was entirely worth it!!! Pft the abyss agrees with LG about the dishes, at least she's looking on the bright side of things! How sad the speedo pics and Claire's broom survive.

Aaaand that's it! Everything I could find- unless I missed some major I think I'm done with this hack! Gud job!

Alright now going through with All Star. No change with Claire, but this time LG tells Zera he's not an All Star which is great. This time the pizza girl is just disappointed by the clarinet and still tortured lol. LG now fails to sing the All Star lyrics in the shower, and describes is horrifying detail how she's going to kill Zera oh no. Also shower gun. Ok. Also got the "There's a creep on my lawn I should address" dialogue lol gonna have to get more of the bed text. Also too sleepy to prank call. And mom's bills being gone, lmao Zera definitely paid em.

This time for the ending I interacted with but ignored the doll, then turned on the radio and ignored the pizza lady, though I didn't realize that meant you still went to LG's room for the ending so I didn't get all the dialogue. I did however get the ending where LG beats the crap out of Zera and fixes everything which I guess is the neutral ending? Lmao ain't no dolls here, just a stick to kill em with.

Oh and you still make fun of me for not eating all the sugar so I'm gonna assume that always happens. Still gonna eat a bunch of sugar at the end of the world tho and get the true ending for full completion's sake.

Current agenda: Go into the void. See dialogue variation for the Ladies song. Check out the basement on the third hour. Ignore doll and radio just in case I get something else. See full pizza lady waiting dialogue.  Also you mentioned I can get locked in the house by visiting the void too much? Gonna have to check that out.

Ooooh wait I thought it was just a variable of having the music on or not, never realized it's based on the specific song either! Gonna have to get that. And love how the shower is called plot irrelevant and yet you literally have to get in it, and it has different music dialogue too lmao. Also wait the sugar jar is exactly 100 times? xD Nice. Ok first the bed dialogue, bout what I expected LG just tells me what I gotta do instead. Fair enough. Never actually got the dialogue for the phone being out cus I thought that would progress things and I interacted with the new chair first. Whoops, but yeah nothing new just the lines are down bout what I expected as well. Oh, missed some stuff on the second... section? Never interacted with the mom portrait being flipped upside-down. Course LG blames mom and then gets another comedy line ok then. Also got the replaced chair, LG's just happy it's back, though I thought she didn't like it?  Like how she calls the eye on the TV a work of art. Definitely better than dumb football. The eye's shaking with the music too. xD And missed Zera being among the photos on the wall! I was confused cus on the third hour LG said something about him not being there but now it makes sense.

Lmao Claire and LG trying to burn each other while they can barely hear each other is too good. Yet LG can still sleep through it lol. She does comment on it though so nice detail. Pffft and LG actually just straight up calls Zera Ronald McDonald, nice. Once again shouting ensues- wait Zera used the bathroom? ...Ew. He is creepy.  Lmfao the pizza call is even better, poor Aimolette just trying to keep her job and going deaf, can't accept McDonald's outside food either. xD Oh we love to torture her so. Heh and LG sings along in the shower scene, trying to sing over Zera. Also love how her singing just devolves into gibberish. And the music is barely making it over the roar of the void outside. Makes sense since apparently Claire could hear it two blocks away. And Zera's just so done with everything. Aw, sad the music cuts out on the third day but it makes sense considering the radio is broken. LG's still pissed about it tho lol.

Decided to completely ignore the doll on the third hour and plug the radio back in to see what would happen. Guessing I'm not getting the true ending this way, but hey the pizzas have arrived. Lmao Chad Girlington, beautiful. End-of-the-world delivery fee makes sense. Surprisingly nice conversation after everything. Also didn't realize the chair changed back on the third hour, so got to see LG annoyed at that lol. Yup got the pizzas, went back into the kitchen, and the doll is gone!

Ooo now Zera's in the mom and dad's room! Dunno if it was ignoring the doll or fixing the radio and getting the pizza that caused that. ...Gonna have to check what the LG's room door would've said. Anyways, new ending! Ok love how the creepy demon is now Sei, and our party energy is attracting that destroyer of worlds! Good thing we got pizza, love the effect over the screen of the pizza it's too good. And RIP Zera got eaten for not wanting to party. Now let's party down with Sei! And get pizza. Yum yum. Guess this was actually true ending even though I never interacted with the doll?

Oh hey and Tem room. Bro I get the true ending and y'all call me out for not getting the sugar thing again. Guess I gotta do that so you don't make fun of me. >:(

Anyways looks like I missed a few more things. I'm pretty sure I got nearly all the alt text, but wait you can actually get the pizza? And leaving the radio on changes things?? I thought it just affected the cutting board dialogue! Also wanna see what happens if I try to just go back to bed lol. Loved the "Sleep is for the weak!" stuff if you said no but was scared to say yes in case she actually did climb into bed. So! That's my checklist!!! Very funni game 10/10!!!!!!

Omg your humor got even better in this game. I love how much of a little gremlin the Lonely Girl is now, though I do feel sad for her mother- though I guess family conflict and your dad's girlfriends don't really matter when the world is ending. Or is the world around the house just ending? Everyone the Lonely Girl calls seems to be fine lol.

Honestly I didn't really know what to expect during the first day, I was rolling too much at LG telling me about how much of a brat she is with everything in her daily life, and speaking of the calls I love how you uses the sprites from Dweller's Empty Path characters that works better than it should. And speaking of sprites I'm absolutely loving LG's devious new face sprites they're beautiful. Couldn't stop laughing at how much of a little crapper LG was to Abby's mom/Claire, though than again Claire is dating her dad soooooo... 

Anyways I toiled for minutes and finally got diabetes and then got the table ending, and also got LG pissed at me for interacting with the ugly pots and boxes in the basement, before continuing onto... well I guess it's not really the next day is it she just took a nap. Ironic that your Escaped Chasm hack takes places over the course of one day while the original game takes place over multiple, while your first Dweller's Empty Path hack takes place over the course of multiple days, while the original game is only one.

I was expecting to actually be able to throw the party, but was pleasantly surprised that this does follow the plot of the house breaking from the original game, but now LG really just doesn't care. She is 8 so it's fair but I just love how Zera keeps getting called out for breaking and entering and has to get out of there. The pizza call got me laughing too. Love how again LG just really doesn't may that much mind to the world breaking, and embraces the bright side of the void taking over her home. And then the call with her mom, guess she's good at staying positive! Poor woman.

Was not expecting the ending to be that abrupt lol, sad I couldn't break into the parents' room.  poor LG gets to be a dog at least? If only we could avenge her by killing Zera... Oh wait!

Unfortunately I missed a couple things. I intentionally didn't go into the light outside the house cus I wanted to get that later, but I did get treated to some corny jokes. Also I guess missed interacting with the radio cus I interacted with the doll and shorted it out first. Also need to see what happens if I refuse to pick up the doll or ignore it altogether. Went to the kitchen first so I guess I missed something in the basement as well... so much more to explore!

Hey I do plan to make another thread after finishing the hack, but I'd just like to point out that the link to the credited "LADIES SONG" doesn't work anymore.

Also found the Yoki's Revenge file lol.

Decided to search for all the other dialogue I could before doing the secret ending stuff, found out that if I don't trust Claire on day 1 I can get some different scenes with the potions. Seriously, well done on everything. Despite the game appearing small there are so many branching paths and I love that. Also, Ralsei Zera, and just the different Zera transformations are hilarious in themselves. Seriously, amazing dialogue.

Now for the secret ending... I would like to point out that I actually said in the DEP discord I was prepared to go through the code to find this ending, so who knows I might've found the file naturally. xD Would've required me to get to Captured Canyon first tho, which btw I'll be playing next and I'm definitely looking for that file. Anyways, honestly the musical cues feel a lot like Snowgrave lol. Despite this being actually older. I actually never discovered Claire's side of the garden either lol, never realized the turnips gave different dialogue, likely how I didn't discover this from the beginning despite me checking literally everything I could the first day lol. Getting very suspenseful on what these things Yoki's picking up are.

Oooooh I thought I was getting somewhere by talking to flyguy on day 3. It gave a sound effect and then gave a new sound as well during the Zera fight. Guess I was misled, thanks for the guide!

Ah, thank you. That's still kinda stupid in my opinion- Newgrounds already got enough popularity. Hell, the main reason those bootleg sites got popular was because Newgrounds went down and no one could use the only place where Friday Night Funkin was!
