The sprite work is very detailed and immerses you into a very cartoony-looking world. I also enjoy the top-down perspective when delivering packages. One of my favorite parts was the fact that you guys had an easy, medium and hard mode which made it feel like an official game.

I love the magical aesthetic that the game gives off.  I also love the fact that there are items you can collect to improve the play experience. All in all, I think this game just needs more animations as otherwise, I think everything else is awesome!

I admire the fact for a text-based game, this was super complex! I really love narrative based games and I feel this would be something I'd play with my friends to see each different result we get.

I love that the simplicity of the art style is actually what draws you in. Its funny because when you download certain apps that have ads, games like these are always advertised. But I feel this one is more aesthetically pleasing to look at compared to the ones I've seen in ads. I think I would definitely play a game like this constantly after being hooked on like the first 2 levels.

It's so cool that this game reminds me of a literal fusion between Metroid and Halo. This would be a game I would actually download from the app store. I also love the creative UI interface, like how the joystick looks futuristic.

I love how much content this game has for a 3D game in the allotted time that was given. It also seems like a game that would be addicting to have if you want to pass time.

I was really impressed by this game because I felt like it contained all elements I’d expect from any new indie games I’d try out on my switch. The fact that you all had NPCs to talk to and the adventurous aspect of it, made it feel like you all tried to immerse the player into this virtual world. I think that was one of the things that hit me the most, the immersion that this game gives. I love how an actual character in the game builds up the world and the storyline instead of just listening to a simple monologue at the beginning. Those are the kind of things that I feel makes a game feel like an actual …game! Haha

i love the design and theme of the game so much. It reminds me of one of my favorite multiplayer games, Overcooked. I think that the aesthetic could be greatly enchanted where the location should take place in an actual restaurant to give the “serving food” to customers a better feel.

i like the concept and aesthetic of the game. I thought it was very adventurous and interesting that you are controlling a boat instead of a person. I do think that there should be more indications of the boat moving. I just think that maybe there could be a different choice of assets for the ocean, aquatic theme? Since at certain points you could see the edge of the world, there’s also no land or sand to make it feel like you are actually “out in the ocean”. Since the water is just static with very pattern based tiling, it didn’t really feel like I was sailing. It would be cool if there was some water effects where you could see water pushing or moving the boat or some wind that affects both the boat and the water.

i think the interaction with certain objects in this game is very cool. I like the ominous feeling of no music and all you hear is other surroundings. Though I do feel that at some point there should be some kind of music, so the game won’t feel empty? If that makes any sense?

I also had an idea for future work with additional content. I think it would be cool if figuring out the first person is like Level 1. Then for level 2, and so on, you have to figure out the identity of new people.

I think it’s amazing how much content this game has in the allotted time that was given. An amazing job indeed. I just think that maybe there should be some sort of inventory that keeps track if information and any other key details gathered so far? Not sure if I’m wording this correctly by using the word “inventory” but due to the complexity of this game, it feels like you have to memorize a lot. Unless that was the point? I also wonder if there should be some kinds of temporary safe room at certain checkpoints that players can dock at if they want to plan out a strategy.

i just love the concept behind this. It reminds me of what Faris said in class about how this could take inspiration in Sonic Adventure, where with one of the characters you play as, the robot was constantly following you around until it kills you. I feel like a mechanic like that would fit really well here, especially if it was the princess trying to get “revenge” on the prince for leaving the marriage. This also reminds me of the trope in certain cartoons/animes where the female character is obsessed with the main protagonist and constantly chases or fangirls over them because of them wanting their love lol.

The jumping and shooting in the game feel really nice, and the animation of the hat is really cool too! I would suggest pulling back the camera so that the player can see more though, or making the platforms bigger, because a lot of deaths seem to come from not really knowing where to go with it.

I really like the theme! It reminds me of Dead Space and Metroid Prime! The enemy and level design is really awesome, its especially fun to do the modified wall jump! One thing I think that youre game can really benefit from is on certain levels when you have the starry background it can get a bit overwhelming! Otherwise its awesome!

I really like the combination of sound and atmosphere! The shooting sound effects and the responsiveness is really nice here! The only problem is at the last level where you respawn, I died a couple of times because the moving platform wasn't below the starting portal... Everything else was amazing though!

All of the unique mechanics in this game are amazing! With a bit of polish I can see this being really popular! I was super surprised to see how well the portal mechanics seemed to work and especially all the cute details in the animations!

The visuals of this game are really cool! Being able to throw shurikens and swing a sword feels really nice and the cyberpunk asthetic is a total vibe! I think its really cool that you can climb the walls with a jump button, but I think including a wall jump kind of like the Necroid game would make this even cooler!
