Please note:
I've been having some problems with my hard drive going flaky and had to replace it.  Because I had to re-install from scratch the programming language used to create the game (Renpy) , past saves are broken and will no longer work.

Sorry, it was a one time thing and there was no way around it. 
All new & future saves will work 100%.  The game runs 100%. 

For those of you that wish to fast forward through the scenes you've already played:
Click the icon to start the game.
START  a new game.
hit the ESCAPE key to bring up the in game options.
click PREFERENCES
choose SKIP - UNSEEN TEXT
RETURN to the game.

This will allow you to hold down the CTRL key to fast forward through all the previous scenes.

The full version of course.

Stranger & stranger, as AFS is created on the same render box as The Memory Machine.
Using the same Android version, same porting sdk's.

How on earth can you see one of them, but not the other?

Something... hiding .apk's  from you?
Have you downloaded any new anti-virus software since you installed AFS?

Just wondering, did the other guys Android port work for you?

Strange coincidence, you renaming the file to the game's original name.  What are the odds?  :)
There's certainly nothing in my original renpy code that would delete the files.  

This is all... very strange.  Especially as none of the other Android users have reported any problems.  Usually if something's wrong I'll receive a dozens of messages as soon it's released.

Let's see if we can get to the bottom of this.

I'm not sure exactly what's going on here, but you could try this compressed phone version created by one of the players.
This is an unofficial port and I have not tried it out myself.

That's odd.
Just for the record, the game was originally named "broken" and I never switched out the apk, so it's still showing the old title. 
It doesn't mean that the game is broken.  

It's actually showing up like it should.
You're not seeing a file called renpy?  If you are, click on it.

If you're not, what kind of Cell phone are you on?  As it's a cell phone, I'm going to guess it's updated and not playing some pre-historic version of Android.

Perhaps I can help you out?

Unzip (unpack) the file.
After unzipping, go to the directory you just unzipped it to.
Find the renpy icon, and click on it.

The game, I presume.  Not the download?
If so, what kind of error are you getting?

Just waiting on Itch to approve my request for a little extra storage space, as the latest update pushes the game over 1gb and their default storage is limited to the 1024mb.  

Meanwhile I've uploaded the file to an external file share so you can still download it.
