I'm so glad to hear that you enjoyed the game - and what an awesome idea to remix it! I'm sure that'll be quite difficult because of how many idiosyncrasies you have to sift through, but you should certainly feel free to give it a try!

As for updates, I'm still working to fix bugs and do lesser Quality of Life tweaks. I'm not currently planning on doing any more programming at the moment, but I hope to get back to it one day!

I'm sorry to hear that you're having trouble getting the game to run.
The only piece of advice I can give is to restart your PC if you haven't already, or try running the game on a new device. If that still doesn't work, feel free to write me an email at thehollandbusiness@gmail.com and I can send you a link to the original Scratch project which might run the game better on your system.

Gameplay

- Cragg will now damage you even when staying at the very edge of the screen. No more cheesing the fight!

- Moved the Spring to a place where you can immediately jump once you've collected it so players don't get confused about the jump height.

- The game will now tell you to 'JUST STAY ALIVE' when taking damage to Cragg for the first time. This is a crude way to deter players from trying to kick him.

Quality of Life

- Slightly lowered the bass sound of Enny's clap.

- Made it impossible to enable developer tools. (To 'UNSTUCK', press '9', '0' and 'Up Arrow' at the same time).

Bug Fixes

- Dreadmask now properly disappears when going to the room below.

- You should no longer get stuck in the basket when dying to Dreadmask.

- You should no longer get stuck in the ceiling of the right-most entrance to Facility 9.

Gameplay

- Increased the damage of Brighteye's attacks from 1 -> 2. The fight should now pose a more suitable challenge.

Quality of Life

- Slightly enhanced the visuals of Cragg's arena.

- Added a tiny obstacle next to the hole in the Cottage floor to stop players from accidentally falling through it.

- Added text saying "(press any key to continue)" after beating the final boss on Nightmare to show the player that there's a final cutscene.

- You can now perform an 'UNSTUCK' action by pressing '9', '0' and 'Up Arrow' at the same time. Only use in emergencies - and write me an email so I can fix the issue that got you stuck! You can find my email at the top of this page.

Bug Fixes

- Made you properly enter Freakwood when leaving the Spire by portal after defeating Brighteye.

- Scrapjack should no longer be able to speak after having defeated you. He apologizes for his bad manners.
