When making these characters I had learnt a very valueble lesson from my other project Lies and Truths, comics take a long asss time to make. Lisbians in Space is meant to be weekly soooo I needed to make them easy to draw. So that's where the design philosophy came from.
Protea:
Serious design philosophy: I wanted a character who is relaxed and chill. Hence the big hoodie and thigh highs and the moth idea came from the fact that in the furry fandom I haven't seen many moth ocs so moth. Protea is a mega structure engineer and her design doesn't express an engineer aspect of her a lot which imo is fine rn as she spends most of her time in front of her pc screen designing stuff on simulators.

Honesty I kinda want to redesign Quartz but have no idea what else she should look like so rn this is what I'm sticking with.
