Update on 0.3, as my comment is on the previous Version : I love the separate tiling size for the texture painting. Makes it even more useful now, especially with the ability to use ones own textures: Very nice. Thanks for the hard work. :-)

Sure: It has some bugs and the interface is not yet final, but given that this is a very early beta, that is to be expected of course and is totally normal :-). Some have already been ironed out with the new version.

If you look beyond that: The tool is already useful for its intended purpose, as it allows exporting (which works fine) and the result can be tuned in other software as well.

I like it and looking forward to further development. :-)

Thanks for your fast reply.

I mean background images. Somehow my brain calls that "backdrops" in this context. But i am not a native english speaker, so i do not know where i picked that up :D. They could be still images or maybe animated image sequences, screenshots basically, yes. I slam on some post processing. (As i am making a 2D point & click adventure game.) I can use Blender för my special 3D needs. But Software such as this is wonderfull for fast scene creation.

Of course i would give credits to you and your Software, if i ever finish my game :)

Also: Thanks for the heads up with the Steam Key :-)

Can i use this program to make backdrops or ingame-maps for a game i am creating? Might be commercial or maybe not. (If i ever even finish it. :-D )

In short: What is the license for the exported creations or resulting images?

Played with it, its very nicely done. If i would still playing pen and paper, it would be a wonderful tool. This entry of yours piqued my interest. I am always interested how things are made and what motivates the creator. Thanks for this text of yours, it was a good read :).
