Thank you for the feedback! Writing and storytelling is not my area of expertise so I chose to use some basic reasons for why the characters do the things they do and go to the places they go. And RPG Maker has lots of limitations which make things difficult to work around or not work such as NPCs moving around too much and blocking the way. I'm attempting to mostly work on balance when battling so the plot and environment can often result in wacky things such as the pods you mentioned so anything can be possible in a sense because of that.
