That is a fantastic suggestion, thank you!!

Hey, thanks so much for the feedback! I’m continuing to work on the project so I can update the sprites and finish the story — hopefully, I’ll be able to release an update later this year. Thanks again for playing it 🥰

Hey, this was absolutely fantastic! The writing was really strong, the art looked great, and the music fit the tone and scenes perfectly. I especially loved the idea of telling the story from the perspective of a devoted cult member — it kept me on edge the entire time, wondering what would happen next. I might come back soon to try the second ending. Amazing work!

Hey, fantastic work! I’m super impressed by how much art and music you managed to create during the jam — that’s seriously impressive! Everything about the project feels so polished, and I really love the story’s dynamic and overall quality.

I was planning to finish it, but I accidentally closed the tab and lost all my progress 😭 I’ll definitely come back later to try the downloadable version instead.

By the way, I love the music — it’s absolutely beautiful! 🎶

Thanks a lot!!

Hey, thanks a lot for the feedback, it really means a lot to me!

I spent quite some time in the writing, so I’m glad you found the characters believable 🙏🏼

About the art, it was all supposed to be placeholders while I finished the 2D sprites, but I ran out of time. I’m still working on them and I plan to update it around November.

About the story, it was as far as I finished for the jam 😅

But I already have the whole story (five chapters) planned, and a few of the chapters already written, so I plan on implementing a least chapters two and three by the end of the year 😁😁

I’ll make sure to let you know when I do.

Agan, thanks a lot for playing, and thanks a lot for the feedback!!!

Hey! This looks great and really interesting — it has a lot of potential!

My only feedback is that it feels a bit sluggish: every time I click to proceed, both the text and the voiceover take a little too long to move forward.

Other than that, really solid work! Great voice over!

Hey! The art is fantastic!

And concept is really great too — really nice work! I’m looking forward to seeing more of it soon. :)

One small piece of feedback: this project would be amazing with some original music that fits the theme! I hope to hear some added in the future.

Hey, this looks great!

The initial concept is super interesting, and I’m looking forward to seeing how you continue to develop it!

Hey, this looks absolutely fantastic! The art and concept are great — it definitely has a lot of potential. Also, the music is amazing! I’m really impressed with how much you accomplished for this jam.

As for feedback, a downloadable version would be great since the browser one was a bit glitchy for me. The movement works well overall, but it does feel a little sluggish at times.

Really solid work — nicely done! 👏

Hey, nice entry!

It’s short and simple, but the concept feels really promising.

I’m looking forward to seeing more of it! 😊

Hey, absolutely fantastic entry — really solid work!

The writing is excellent: well-paced, intriguing, and already showing some real character depth. The art and cinematography are both beautiful, and I’m really impressed by the overall audio and music quality too.

I’ll definitely be following to check out any future updates.

Hey! Really interesting story and great use of the engine — I loved the puzzles and the branching options!

I managed to reach two different endings, though I’m sure there are more since I only played for about half an hour. The only reason I’m not jumping right back in is because I’m trying to get through more games that still need ratings, but I’ll definitely come back to it later.

The story is genuinely intriguing with excellent pacing, and I’m super curious to see where it goes. Also, huge props for how much art you managed to create — that’s seriously impressive!

Really great work overall! 👏

My only small piece of feedback is that, although the music and SFX were great, there’s an ambience sound near the beginning that doesn’t loop smoothly — it gets a bit distracting when it cuts off.

Other than that, I loved everything! 💖

Heeey! I just played the game and came straight here — I love a good post-mortem! 😄

I really enjoyed reading this, and I relate to so much of what you shared. I left a comment earlier, but I just wanted to say again how much I loved what you managed to create in such a short time.

I’m really looking forward to seeing more of this game — or anything else you develop in the future.

Fantastic work! 💖

Hey, this is absolutely fantastic! I loved everything about it — the characters, the way you drew them (and all the variations!), and the backgrounds too. The dialogue boxes look great, and the subtle camera movements add so much life to the scenes. The story seems really promising as well — I’d love to play more! 💖 Just followed you to keep up with the game :D

Oh, and one small note! The menu music and ambient sounds are wonderful, but I think adding some subtle background music during gameplay could make the atmosphere even more immersive :3

Also, I totally get you — I was super ambitious with my own project this month and didn’t manage to finish everything either, so I completely understand hahaha 😅

Thanks a lot! I'm already back to working on it, so hopefully I'll get it updated soon :3

Hey, this is really great! I really enjoyed the story and the way you’re directing it, and both the art and cinematography look fantastic.

I was especially impressed by the way you are using the dialogue boxes—though at times it was a little tricky to tell who was speaking.

The system with the lies and repeated dialogue lines is awesome, and I’m really curious to see where you take it. That said, I did end up getting stuck after trying out all the locations and struggling to figure out which phrases to use with which characters. I kept at it for a while, but eventually gave up (though I’ll probably give it another shot tomorrow!).

Overall, this is a really awesome entry—congrats on the great work!

Ohh, that sounds like a good way of handling it. I was afraid of lowering the scores too much, because I really enjoyed the game, even though there was no music. I think giving it 3 stars for this area might do the trick then. Thanks!

Hey! I'm currently playing a few games to rate them, and I’m a bit unsure about how to handle missing elements.

For example, if a game has no music, how should I rate that section? Should I give it one star, or leave it blank?

Hey! I really enjoyed this entry! The character designs were really unique, and I loved the idea of only coloring the hair.

The story was super intriguing—I actually got a bit frustrated when it ended because I was so curious to see what would happen next!

My only wish would be for some music to help set the mood. At times, I wasn’t entirely sure if the tone was meant to be cheerful or carry an underlying sense of mystery. I think a music track could really enhance that feeling. :D

I just followed you to keep up with the development—can’t wait to see where the story goes and figure out what’s happening!

Hey, of course! I’m honored you’re asking. The vn is just super short in its current state, though,  as it was just a short intro for a game jam. 😅

Heeey! I just stumbled across this devlog and I absolutely love it! The idea of writing devlogs during the jam is brilliant—I’ll definitely try that too (I just joined Spookytober 2025). Thanks for sharing this, it’s so fun to see the process, even if I know this was released years ago hahaha.

Also, the art is gorgeous—I think I just became a fan of your sister!

Ohh thanks a lot for playing it! I'm glad you enjoyed it 🥰🥰

Thank you so much, that means a lot! 💖 I’m glad you liked the characters.

Yeah, Visual Novel Maker does have some really nice backgrounds—I might use some of them, though I’m also considering trying out a few custom ones later on.

I just realized I completely forgot to upload the game, haha—it's up now in case you’d like to check it out!

I’m excited for you to play, hope you’ll enjoy it! 💖

Thanks so much! Even though the characters were originally meant to be just concepts, I did put quite a bit of effort into them. Right now they’re only renders, since (as far as I know) Visual Novel Maker doesn’t support 3D imports.

Also, I just realized I completely forgot to upload the game, haha—it's up now in case you’d like to check it out!

Really appreciate your interest!

Thanks! Of course :)

Hey, thanks for sharing this! Yes, this character was created using one of vroids models as base. The modified vroid model I created is also here, in case you'd like to check it: Free 3D Anime Girl - Theresa by Thatnewdevgirl (itch.io)

Hey, thanks a lot for the feedback!

The tip I would give is just getting familiar with VROID, and learning how to import it into Blender, so you can adapt it to a format that's usable on Game Engines, as the native format from VROID (VRM) can't be imported right into them :)

Hey, thanks a lot for the tips and the motivation >.<

Of course, I would love to talk to you about the project if you're still looking for a team  :)

Yep :D
