Understood! I'll make sure to work on that moving forward!

Completely understand! I realized I didn't have a point to explain much because of my scope, and the parts that are ment to be read into and mysterious feel unfinished.

Thank you for taking the time to comment! We definitly plan to fix the narration issue in the beginning and continue working on the game!

I completely agree with everything you have to say! We had the idea to do all these changes plus a few others, but do to time restraints and, per usual, life events (Our main coder was sick), we weren't able to implement them before the deadline. Rest assured, we do plan to work more post-jam on the game to finish what we started. Thank you so much for the feedback, and when I have time, I would love to play and rate your game as well!

I do thankfully have screenshots, but ALL of my layers on fire alpaca for my background are gone....I am so deeply sad and no clue how it really happened.

Turns out for SOME reason it saved in a different area and created a duplicate of itself......but yaiy savef layers!

Just wanted to post this for others incase it helps! I was looking for free fonts to stylize my game right? Went on youtube for some recs, then applied that to google found some gorg ones and put them into my unity text maker. Only problem? AFTER I get a targeted add saying the company I used from is making things with AI. This jam is making me so aware of how much is already surrounding us. Be careful ya'll. files deleted and the font search begins anew!

My goals: Make attainable goals....learn 1 new code for a mechanic, make the game purty and fuctional. This is honestly all I ask of myself

This is deeply humorous because I was work-shopping game mechanics with a fellow game dev and he brought up an idea we went with that uses this! HAZZA!! I'm so excited, I hope I made an outline I can follow and finish on time! (I work all week ;-; aahh)

Love the mechanics! I think this is incredibly satisfying to play and incredible to get done in the time contraints! Will have to play more later

The only function was to press the space bar to make lewis bounce, sometimes the screen itself needs to be clicked to make the action happen! Thank you so much and I'm glad you were able to vibe out!

Thank you so much I'm glad you enjoyed!!

The mechanics and theme were wonderful! I enjoyed the hunt for items and just all the assets within character and enviroment. When holding wasd at all though the music glitches out and creates a very unsettling atmosphere. Great game!

Love the art and playstyle! The instructions and visuals for using coins was still a bit confusing.

Thank you for your comment! I'm truly excited to update this work, the script is already finished and attached but to push further and show off this world is going to be enjoyable, I cant wait!

I don't have much to say. This was very fun and the first game I wanted to get all the endings in! The voice acting was absolutely marvelous. Everything worked together and harmonized. I respect the cereal kill tumbr sexy-men. Just loved the artstyle and vibe. Could have found some places to put spooks in, but none the less very much enjoyed, well done!!

(Spoilers for first-timers of this game) The black-and-white aesthetic brings out the right energy, although it makes viewing the novel a bit difficult for my specific eyes. I did not expect the narrative to create an investigation in my mind, but I found myself piecing together the mystery of the previous sacrifice.  I love the poetic injustice and wishing to accept yourself as something society rules as evil when you know it to be false. The overall feel is very solumn. The idea of death being imminent so all you can choose is what principles you stand on when facing your time is a complex head-spinning debate. The message of how women are used as currency ressenates within my soul and travels into my heart. The real monsters are absolutely the people who worship marriage and gods to the point of ending their own children. Lastly, the gays, love them .  <3 wonderful job!

Loved the intentional visuals in the intro such as the darkness all but in the light of the window and the shadow perfectly crossing the portrait.  The silence of the intro along with wise woman's urgency brought about such wary feelings I had to wait a day before continuing. The thorough explanation of the objective and game mechanics were appreciated. Loved all the characters especially moch moch....the witch is RESPECTUALLY attractive. There were some good scares! The fake-out was super creepy. Gorgeous art. I enjoyed the different endings and just how nothing is made completely clear, there's still a mystery as to why the witch is there. Great game well done!

Thank you for the feedback! Very glad to hear it was enjoyed!!

I like moving the main menu background around with the mouse. The pink and desaturated brown color pallet is a perfect mix of creepy and cute. Mayu's design feels busy like I don't know exactly where to look. Wonderful music, displays emotional themes well. Game mechanics are easy to understand, gives the player more control in-universe. I'm captivated by making Mayu Succeed. Having an important deadline keeps the energy of story progression up! Love Sumire <3 Love the mp3 player. The environments and assets are so fun to look at. The visual format is also unique. Several paths and choices to make, I was happily surprised! Overall wonderful story, gameplay, and feels polished and finished. Great job devs!

I thought the game was fun! The train seems well constructed for the stage it's in and the instructions are desiferable. I think adding in music would help, I found my self singing country road to fill in the space, the atmostphere is coming together very nicely and overall I'm quiet impressed.  excited to see more things added! as an artist the small things really pop out in the best ways like the bottles and food, cant wait to see a toilet and play with more train gagets when they become more interactable to.

Thank you so much for the feedback! I completely agree with your thoughts! I hope to update this more after the judging period. The worst thing for me was time, complications arose so I only have 5 days to finish, hopefully with more time I'll be able to really clean it up! Thank you for playing!

I legit just saw that add and came here to ask about it.

Thank you so much! We appreciate your feedback! Glad you enjoyed ^-^

It's a pretty incomplete game so I don't quiet know but thank you for wanting to!

Beautiful game! Very well finished

This was so much fun! It took a bit to understand that was the blender and once I clicked on the food it was then already in the blender, but the characters helped the moral stay up even when you made a mistake! Loved this <3
