I needed some time to collect my thoughts after finishing the finale and all endings. The ending threw me for a loop (a time loop...lol). I'll get more into Ending Spoilers later, but I want to say some non-spoilery stuff about the game as a whole first.

This is such an awesome gore game. There is nothing else like Our Wonderland. The level of nonsense this game is on is unmatched. I am a big fan of hyper-gore and guro-type games, on some level because its such a strange and loud way to tell a story that it always makes me interested. There's also a sense of humor and catharsis in the absurdity of all that violence. Our Wonderland makes use of these ideas so well. These characters are dysfunctional, they never learned how to be close to someone without ripping their skin off, and its sad, and its funny, and it's hitting on a personal level. I have also never played another game that depicts asexuality in such a visceral way. OW rockz 5ever.

Spoilers time~

Okay, so that ending! The more I thought about the characters, the more I liked it and a sense of acceptance washed over me. They were always in that never-ending life, even before I came in and started playing with them, and so of course they return once again. It reminded me of the Nietzsche quote I sent you on tumblr a while ago. (I couldn't find the tumblr post, so I'm just linking to the quote itself.)

The scene with Saydie guiding Iggy to find all his friends was really emotional for me. All the characters saying their adult wishes, but looking like children, and realizing their wishes sound so much like the wishes of children. Sometimes I feel like I carry every age I've ever been with me, so I'm more experienced at being 9 than I am at being 26. This scene reminded me of that feeling. It was really well-done.

Other thoughts: I am still reeling from my ship being canon!? Gidget/Cecil/Orlam canon, arguably in every universe except for the Orly ending! I am screaming!! I am sooooo happy for them. Oh my GOD.

I also really loved the Orly ending, too! For me, that one was the sweetest. They keep coming back to each other. Everything about them together. Discordant harmony in B, please. <3

Our Wonderland is so good. Congrats on finishing this giant game! I'm so happy I got to play it, and now it will be played over and over again by players new and old! :3

Woohoo!! New sprites are looking GREAT. Take as much time as you need to finish your game, it will be well worth it!

Cannot wait 2 make The Choice in arc 5, given that I've been playing the entire game Like This:

ROCKIN AS USUAL OMFG. The randomized text convos make this game super fun to replay. Even if you're going for the same route, you'll get different conversations with that character each playthrough. I'm kind of obsessed with this, it's just such a clever idea and so fun to play! The stat-management part was challenging for me, but I have figured out a strat that works for my purposes (lots of savescumming involved lol... countdowns make me anxious so I gotta make all the money and buy Iggy's clothes IMMEDIATELY or I'll faint.) Overall what I'm trying to say is this game is really well-made and it feels like there is so much to do and discover!

Minor spoilers beyond this point~

I played Orlam's route twice before doing the others. I'm so happy for him!! Live your relationship anarchist lifestyle, rat boy! 🖤 And I love that he is the only LI foreward enough to straight-up tell Iggy that he likes him, no stuttering about it. Iggy and Orlams' QPR is everything to me. I was especially unexpectedly touched by the moment over text where Iggy is like "I guess I don't have a problem saying no to you!". Like he trusts him enough to know Orlam will listen, and also that Orlam won't stop being his friend over it. I love how Iggy becomes more assertive when next to Orlam. And I like to think Iggy makes Orlam feel safe and beloved for who he is and not any particular mask he wears. They are always saying "I don't understand you" to each other but it's the effort they make to listen and care for each other and respect those differences that matters. Augh! Literally I just. Luv them. 🥺 Great job constructing these chars and their relationships!

Sidenote: That group text convo between Gidget, Iggy, and Orlam is doing WONDERS for my Gidget/Cecil/Orlam OT3. I know this was not remotely the point of the game but. Well. :)

This game rockz!! It was so fun! I played all three of the routes (Orlam is my favorite, not a big surprise since he's always been my fave. It was nice to romance him in an slightly softer environment where we had a bit more time 2 talk. I love u Cannibal King.)

(Slight spoilers after this point?)

Also, terrified about the implication that Jerry is Hunar's fursona. Due to that "What? I said there could be a little throat-slitting." line. Took me a minute to notice it, but then I was like wait...Hunar is the one who said the thing about throat-slitting originally, so that means...that means...!?

Also the eyeball-puzzle scene with Iggy and Ghent was really sweet and fun. It says so much about Iggy and Gidget's friendship in a simple scene, and makes me feel warm and fuzzy inside. :'3 When Iggy and Gidget are coding 2gether they are the best of friends. Too bad the whole world isn't made of javascript, huh.

I really like this comic. I can't say everything I want to say, but I will say, I was kind of serious about singing when I was younger. I wanted very badly to play a breeches role ever since someone told me it was a thing. My voice coach wouldn't let me because I'm a coloratura soprano. My voice is too high.

I understand it is not entirely the same situation as your comic, but reading it still brought out some memories and I did tear up a little. It's so strange how much of opera (and singing professionally in-general) is controlled by what other people expect to see at your show, when the sound comes out of your own mouth.  Anyway, thank you for making this comic and thank you for letting me read it.
