I really liked the concept and the visuals of this game! Even the bags looked kind of eerie, so I wasn't sure what would be considered "nasty" in this context. A bit more clarity on that would've been even better. With an intriguing concept, I think it has the potential of being an awesome game if there was more time for more stages.

Fun stuff! My reflexes clearly need some work because the highest I got to was 75 in hard mode. It gets incredibly intense when the gems appeared at the edges and that brought on a dynamic experience.
The graphics are lovely but I do think there was an opportunity to have the spider be animated as it crawled around, and perhaps a cobweb in the background to explain how the little guy was moving. The overall sounds were harmonious and tied up the game very nicely.
This would be a super fun way to practice typing! I loved the graphics and the classy 16 bit soundtrack. It did take a minute for me to figure out how to start playing the game and I haven't been able to outrun the skeleton (or maybe I don't type fast enough haha), so a bit more guidance on how to play might've been nice. I wonder if there would've been bigger words if I managed to advance further.
I had so much fun playing this game. The graphics are beautiful, the minimal sound design really made me feel like I was in front of the computer, the growing mysteries were captivating--it was the most scared I was while playing games from this jam! If there were to be future updates, a notebook feature that automatically adds the keywords you've searched and the places you've called would be super helpful, though having to write down physical notes also added to the immersion.
This was truly a fun experience, it had me peering over my shoulders every now and then with texts alone! I recommend getting ready to take notes while you play, it really adds to the immersion. Found myself stuck midway so having a walkthrough was also incredibly helpful as it allowed me to play through the game fully.
Hello there, hope you're having a wonderful day yourself!
We're participating with our first ever game jam entry, Dormeonte, which is a little spoopy game about a cat guarding its owner at night against evil spirits. It's a very simple and quick play that lasts for about a minute; hoping it could bring you good vibes for that period of time. :)

Hello guys! We're a two people team making a game for the first time. I'm a complete newbie to both Unity and programming, so the game in itself is an incredibly simple bouncing game where a cat bounces around to defeat ghosts so that the owner can sleep in peace (while simultaneously destroying furniture). It's a mix of whimsical spoopy fun and horror as the ghosts will have scary graphics.
We were originally planning to use free music and sound effects; however the game is coming together nicer than we've thought and now we want original content instead. It's an incredibly late recruitment, but are there anyone interested in helping us out?
