One of my favorite games I've played in this jam. The idea of creating a character build by swapping out slots in the wheel is awesome, and the art, music and sounds are so cool! I didn't get to see everything in this game, but I'll definitely be coming back to play more. Really great job! : )

Did not expect to see Scratch in this Jam lol! This is a really cool take on the theme. I especially liked that one level near the end where you have to turn the screen so the red wall moves out of the way. There were a couple of times where I respawned in a different area from where I started and skipped parts of the level, and one of the enemies once clipped through a part of the level and killed me, but those were the only issues. I used to use Scratch so I know how finicky it can be with physics.
Good job on this game : )
Really like the office theme and the character designs are great! Using the cubicles as grind rails is very creative, though I feel they are a bit disconnected from the rest of the race. I found that I could either stick to speed boosting or using the cubicle, but couldn't switch between both without losing momentum.
The AI seems to find it hard to navigate certain parts of the track, which gave me a pretty big lead each race. I love the idea of different tracks that overlap with each other, I did sometimes lose track of where I was supposed to be going though, and just ended up going in circles without progressing.
Overall though I think this is a super fun idea for a racing game, great work! : )
Fun little arcade type game. I really like using the spinning theme for movement, you kinda get a hang of the controls after a bit but there's always a chaotic feeling that I like. There were a few times where I got hit by an asteroid while moving from one section of the map to another, which felt a bit unfair. It's hard enough to dodge the asteroids that you can see lol.
Still, this is a really good game, nice work!
I love the visuals and the screen effects (though the sudden flash at the end is a little intense). The different enemy types coming at you at different speeds were a neat way to keep you engaged while only pressing a single button. I didn't really understand the tutorial at the beginning, and because of that I don't really know what was causing sunflowers to spawn. That was the only issue though, this game is simple but fun. Good job!
This is a really neat game. I like the idea of a shooter where you have no control over your aim, forcing you to time your shots and move around more. I loved the rock music during gameplay lol.
I understand the TNT is probably there to stop you from just spamming the gun and moving around, but I also felt like even when I wasn't doing that I was still hitting TNT offscreen and taking damage as a result. Game also got really laggy after enough spiders started to spawn lol.
Still I had fun with this, good job! : )
I think it was the tall blue windmill, with two or three squares of room above it on the grid. If the worker tried to go over the windmill they would disappear behind it and never come out, maybe they were still collecting bread and I just didn't realize but it confused me all the same when three of my workers just vanished lol. (I was using the windows version of the game if that's relevant)
Again though, everything else was great and I think an expanded version of this could be really fun :)
I enjoyed this a lot. Getting the first few upgrades took a while but continuously upgrading the wheel was fun. I like that you can switch out pieces depending on how much money you have, adding a bit of strategy (e.g. at one point I made the mistake of putting on a multiplier when I was low on money and ended up multiplying my debt over and over). I feel the never negative upgrade that you get removes some of the risk, but it's nice that you can just turn it off, plus you're probably close to beating the game at that point anyway.
Visuals were really polished and the music was nice. As others have said though I found the font really difficult to read at times, especially on the slices, I also felt that switching the pieces took a bit more time than it needed to.
But this is a really well put together and fun game, great job!
Thanks so much for the feedback :) Looking at it now I probably did make the spinning too unforgiving, and the lack of an in game tutorial or resizable window (and a web version) were things I wasn't happy with but felt like they'd take until past the deadline lol. I'll definitely take your criticisms into account should I continue this project, can't wait to try out your game.
Neat game! The different types of power plants were really creative, especially the roulette wheel. Having multiple of those in the building is really chaotic in a fun way. I could definitely see a fleshed out version of this game with more types of plants and goals to achieve being really engaging.
The only problem I had was I felt it wasn't very clear how to begin earning money, took a second to figure out I had to grab and let go of the wheel to spin it. Other than that though great job with this!
Cool game, loved the visuals and the audio had a nice retro feel to it that matched well. The spinning trick is neat and I like that it can double as a kind of sprint button, but that you have to be careful with it as you risk bumping into a wall and losing momentum.
I felt that the wall sprites kind of blended into the background and it took me a second to realize they were barriers, but I got the hang of it. I also would sometimes get stuck in the wall when using the spin attack, usually I was able to unstick myself by spinning again, but not always.
I had fun with this game though, really good job :)
Really fun little clicker game. The visuals and music were great and fit the cozy vibe really well. I liked the customization allowing you to create a small little village.
I did encounter a small bug where workers would get stuck at the top of the map if there was a windmill placed there, and also moving the blue windmill after placing it down causes the blades to move off center. But those were the only issues I encountered.
Overall fantastic game and I could definitely see this being a very fun clicker/village builder if it were to continue.
