Thank you very much, that worked! I'm really enjoying the game thus far; however, I have found a few more places where the game crashes. Most of these I was able to get past by copying and renaming graphics files: one when entering the cave where you meet bloodfang because the game can't find the right 0Effect file in the pictures folder and then another going further into the cave because it can't find a different 0Effect file, then a similar one entering the yuki-onna's cave looking for a different 0Effect file again. The game also crashes if you go into the Weissburg charity house because it looks for a file called !Door1.png in the characters folder which isn't there. There's also a much easier to avoid one in the hidden area off the mountain paths just before the entrance to the minotaur caves where you meet the crazy hermit who throws himself off a cliff if you examine a painting in his cave the game look for an image called "Painting Y'Golonac.png" whereas the file is named "Painting Y-Golonac.png". Edit: And one more returning to the underground city after liberating Weissburg looking for Graphics/Characters/Ghosts.
The first I couldn't fix was in a cave in the south east of the south valley area in urbus, there's some enemies wandering around which use the golem sprites on the overworld though at least on of them turns out to be something called a Dargal when you fight it. Anyway, the one directly north of the entrance to the lower level creates an error when you try to fight it causes an error which says "Script 'Enemy Bars' line 258: NoMethodError occurred. undefined method 'boss_bar'for nil:NilClass". Also the enemy to the left of that provoked a line of dialogue from a character called Yseult at the beginning of the battle whom I have not met, whether because I'm at the wrong stage of the game, I missed something or she's associated with a different class I do not know. I reloaded and didn't do anything more in that area because I was worried about potentially messing with flags for a quest I hadn't actually started.
The second error I couldn't fix is in the forest of wavering mist almost straight down from the entrance of the spider cave there's a mountain of dirt which you can clear with a shovel; the scene gets as far as revealing two jewels and then produces an error message reading "Script 'ItemPopup - Vlue/Ronin' line 120: ZeroDivision error ocurred. divided by zero."
Additionally, while this doesn't actually impede progress, a lot of the enemies in Weissburg seem to be using the wrong sprites. At the moment the skeletons other than the skeletal towers appear as various kobold sprites and the slimes in the secret passage appear as white rectangles before they're frozen. There's also an opening in the west/left wall of Weissburg which looks like we ought to be able to walk through it but they grey ground just outside it is impassable. Not sure if that's an error or if I'm missing something.
Edit: There's also a few more points where an image, usually a character sprite, gets left on screen. When it's a party member these can be fixed by changing the character's outfit or talking to them but I did have to do the transparent png file thing again with a file called "Fr Ogre Happy.png" after giving the ogre a teddy bear. Hana's sprite also gets stuck on screen after talking to the wyvern guy in the tower of wisdom and Bloodfang's gets stuck on screen after talking to the Ardori ambassador.
I'm really sorry if I seem like I'm bombarding you with complaints; I really do think you've made a great game and it's just that stuff like this kind of gets in its way. Anyway, thanks again! Good luck!
