I congratulate you on your first gamejam! My first game was also created for mini-jam (Mini-Jam 103: Darkness), and I fondly remember my first feedbacks about my game, and how I rate other people's games, marveling at the quality of some ;)

I am glad that this gamejam was a wonderful pastime for you, and I wish you success in your next projects! It would be great if we met again in the following gamejams and watched the progress in your next games! :D

You are very very lucky that you wrote this at the moment when I was online :)
I will try to play your game and rate if it works

Great presentation and the use of limitation, but it would be much more interesting if the firewood will respawned, and the ice inside the houses melted. At the 9th minute I ran out of firewood, but I found a bug and could stand in the door indefinitely without freezing :|

Damn, dude, it was so touching at first, but when I saw the meme, I almost died xd
(Without spoilers) But despite the jokes, as a lover of visual novels, I will say that the story really turned out to be touching. The most important thing is that there is a wise thought in the game, and I like how deeply you used limitation.
That was an unexpected and pleasant experience, since rarely anyone makes visual novelles in 3 days. Great job!

P.S.

Wow, that's impressive! Everything is fine in the game, and it looks like an already completed project. I really was very interested in playing your game! Pixel art, level design, sounds, music, everything is done perfectly! Despite the fact that the game is short, this is the rare case when I can say with confidence - this is a winning game ;)

Wow, looks like a new take on the "snake game"! :D
Its a great concept and the use of limitation, and maybe it seems to me, but over time the game becomes more difficult, this makes it even better! In general, I didn't find any problems in your game. Great job! :)

Good game! I like how you combined tower defense and first person shooter. I also like the way you use limitation, some of the powerups were inconvenient but useful. I also like the cartoon style and detailed backgrounds. But I would like the upgraded turret to be different from the others, because sometimes I get confused about which tower I haven't upgraded. My record is 204 :)

I have windows 10 and have exactly the same problem :(

The beginning was intriguing and creepy, I expected to see jumpscares in the maze, but fortunately, or unfortunately, there was none :)
I also liked that you made a cutscene, worked on the lighting and sound. But it seems to me that use of limitation could have been implemented better than just walking through objects. Not bad game!

I beat all the levels and I have to say that I really liked the level design! The game as a platformer is well done. I really appreciate platformers that aren't too hard or too easy, you managed to keep the game balanced. I also like that you did all the graphics yourself :D

But, personally, I did not like the use of the limitation. Sorry, but random teleportation wasn't inconvenient, it was rather useless, except for certain moments. I think you should have made it less random to force the player to use it because... throughout the game I was either stuck in the textures or teleported to almost the same place where I was standing before.
Still, that's a good result for a 3 day game, great job! :)

You made nice use of limitation. That was frustrating, but I like it when the game trolls the player :D (lava moment was fun). The music was well chosen and the player's movement was precise. Good job :)

Wow! You did a good job on the mechanics of the game, I like when there are details and nuances in the gameplay. (At first I didn’t understand how freezing works and how exactly enemies lower the temperature, but then I understood) I also like all the action that happens during the game, it’s very reminiscent of Vampire Survivors :)
Good job!

Fun game! I played a similar game a long time ago, where you had to cause chaos in the city without getting damaged. I also liked the music and the angry faces of the people I accidentally froze :D
But I would really like the game to become more difficult over time

Not a bad game for your first game jam. I like the idea of running, jumping over enemies, shooting when possible and healing from falling snowflakes. The game needs dynamics and action elements, I think you should work in this direction :)

I really like the mood of the game. Due to the cute visuals and melodic music, the game has a nostalgic and soulful vibe. By nostalgic, I mean old flash games, like I've played a similar game before! Oh, it's a good feeling.
About gameplay, despite some player feedback and Anna Xavier's mention of a lack of climbing guide, I didn't experience any problems. Idk, but I quickly figured out the game mechanics. The level design is great, it was fun and challenging to play this game! Good job!

Thanks for the kind words!

The game situation that you have happened clearly shows the problem of my game. You beat the puzzle and all you had to do was go to the left, where the missing platform would spawn, but I did not have time to make any notification or change the status of the task, which may make it seem that the game is broken, although in fact it is not 😅  Sorry for such a stupid mistake :,D
I will play your game soon and try to write a detailed feedback :)

Im glad my feedback helped you! You also helped me with your feedback - I began to better understand what is good and bad about my game :)

Good luck with this difficult task, and let me know when you finish the game!

Wow... I said that I would pay the most attention to the balance in your game, but I can not remain silent about how detailed you have made the game! Oh, this concept is very cool and goes well with the theme. The visual is very smooth and good. With music playing in the background, it is very fun to destroy objects. You even managed to create a leaderboard!! (Im in top 4 :D) Excellent work...

Oh yes, balance. Well, I think that the gameplay problem is that the standard movement is not very effective. Since the dash is very fast and has no restrictions in use, it is most efficient to move only with the dash!
Yes, it can sometimes be dangerous when there are moving spikes, but then another problem appears - the random generation of obstacles. I had a moment when only static spikes appeared at the top of the level, and I avoided them without any problems!
I think that these problems are quite difficult to solve. I would add dash charges so the player would sometimes have to move around with a normal sprint. But in order for the gameplay not to become boring and somehow limit skill players, you can add items that appear near traps that would instantly replenish the dash charge!
What about generation... The generation problem is much more difficult to solve. I don't understand level generation and I could be wrong, but maybe the game should read the player's Y position in order to spawn traps right on their level behind the screen. Sorry if I misunderstood how obstacle generation works in your game.

Final opinion: The game deservedly 5/5

Thanks for such a great submission! <3

Thanks for feedback!
Creating a big game world on one level was something new and hard for me. But I spent too much time on the visuals, and completely forgot about the tutorial and the functionality of some mechanics that help to better perceive the game.
I will definitely play your game and try to pay maximum attention to the balance ;)

Cool concept and fun gameplay. That crab is annoying me xd

Very nice submission.
The visual, effects, music, and moderately challenging gameplay are all coolly realized. The only thing was that it was not very convenient for me, to shoot at the dot button, but this is not so important :)

This is not ad
My game doesnt have a tutorial and many players have trouble understanding the game. So, I made a video-walkthrough. If you have any difficulties and have a desire to beat the game, then I hope this will help you :)

P.S.
I have some free time. Send links to your games, I will try to write detailed reviews!
I will also be grateful if you rate my game too

Not bad game, i guess. But there a lot of things that need to be changed: sprites resolution, controls, the blocks movement speed, etc.

Wow. The concept is pretty cool. The challenging gameplay goes well with the intense music. I beat 3 levels before watching the walkthrough.

Good job

Good game to pass the time. I like the visuals effects and the smooth camera movement. But over time, the game becomes very easy, it would be nice if traps or other obstacles would spawn on the level.

P.S. When my score was almost 800000, the game decided to die xd

Oh, it was an exciting 3 days of development. I will definitely play your game when I have free time :)

?

Fun game! I like the idea and the physics of objects. I would like to build with a tool like "physgun" in Garry's Mod :D

Good work!

Nice game with cool music, but maybe you should add more obstacles and make the red block faster :)

Not bad game with interesting idea, but I think the gameplay needs dynamics (like traps or monsters). I also like the "fog of war" in this game. With this mechanic, you can come up with many other interesting mechanics and events :)

I was surprised when I killed my teammate xd

Great game :)

I liked it, interesting game :)

Fun and difficult game.

Jeez, I was surprised at how fast the bombs spin xd

I also liked the variety of enemies and the ability to use spells :)

Congrats on your first submission on gamejam!

As for your game...

I did not understand the idea of placing blocks with each completed level. What does it affect?

And I couldn't complete the level with darkness. It seems to me that the jump height is not enough for the character (look at screenshot). I also tried to find a hidden platform in the dark, but didn't find it.
The bugs with the display of the "click" and "touch" buttons confused me at first

P.S.
I finally figured out how to complete the level. Turns out I was in the wrong part of the level looking for a hidden platform xd
I like that puzzle with darkness. Good work!
