I am a huge fan of most of the cozy games you can find out there. Shimmershoal is a great addition to the list of games I play when I want to just relax and also recommend it for people to play. As a fan of the genre, I can tell you sometimes I get that extra itch that something is missing from the game but this game does not have that issue  from what I got from the demo. It gives a nice mixture where I did not have that issue. I had a lot of enjoyment exploring as much as I possibly could to find any secrets, the NPCs you can talk to are full of personality where they are fun to talk to and all of them have their very own unique personality. The puzzle in the game I enjoyed a lot and look forward to seeing the future puzzles that are to come. The combat I could not give a good opinion on because I am not experienced in the style of combat to be able to compare. The only thing I could point out as something that would need work on is I did lag in some areas though that could be due to the fact I was using my school laptop at the time of playing the game. I highly look forward to seeing where the game goes!
