There's got to be a way to get outrageous scores with all those retriggering effects

I really felt powerful when I got to 26K $ this was fun!

I assume the formula is:  A.hp-max(0, B.atk-A.def)

However, given that this is correct, I have no idea how that formula is used to determine who wins a battle. I absolutely cannot predict how it should be behaving.

How does it work? The game looks promising

I like the music

Awesome project! Great feeling, great artistic direction, the controls are deceptively intuitive (as someone who drives a manual). Feels like I'm in Redline or some epic comicbook

Sadly the lever clips through the gears sometimes. Also some collisions are bigger than they seem (oh that train)

Overall, impressive!

SO CLEAN!

awesome!

It's amazing! Just a shame that you're locked if you have 3 villagers (7 still alive) because the next Purity threshold is 720

~72M points is the best hand I could get (needed the lucky hit on the first 6 in a five-of-a-kind with 5 queens)

Congrats for making this game! It's fun! The twist of changing cards/deck into faces of a die is neat! I like that you changed accordingly the playing hands (especially love the small straight)

3 things I think might improve the game experience:

- allow to choose not to use ladder or serpent after a roll (unless that was intentional)

- allow the player the check all 6 faces for each die to help deck editing

- make rerolling cost at least 1$

Loved the game! Just finished it at 100% (the teleportation mage was really hard). Super easy to understand gameplay, super fun, awesome music and nice visuals. I had an absolute blast with the Blood Mage, making your health = your money is a really cool concept and completely shifts the risk/reward dynamic. Thank you for making this great little game :D

This is the first time on this website I am considering buying a game haha… 🧐

Neat puzzles

Rien que la démo est extra ! J'ai passé 10 minutes à contempler le menu hahaha et il y a vrmt plein d'efforts pour que le tutoriel soit digeste, c'est vraiment impressionnant. Super projet et lâche pas l'affaire !

Ooverpopulation! can't place anything
I would suggest making the building placement more clear. On the edges of the map, it's not clear whether or not you can place a building. Furthermore, the collision of castles is a little deceptive (maybe an invisible grid would help)

Really fun project! Would be thrilled to see it expanded a little :D I like the concept, the dynamic between crime and happiness/econ (markets are definitely OP hehe). The random events help spice the experience. Nice work for a game jam. Impressive!

Simple but very cool proof of concept!

Green has sick combos. My army of Slakings is ready!!!

The game is fascinating. It's really close to a pokemon experience and you can tell that the dev loves pkmn. There are many combos and ways to optimize. I wish the game was less grindy and the tributing mechanique was more detailed. But in a way, it is true to the pokemon experience haha

Few things I wish I knew earlier when playing the game:
- trees have no cost, even when holding a glyph
- the upsides given by a tribute are not related to the tributed pkmn
- Lucky glyph is so good it's worth giving to any pokemon, and especially to trees/rocks.

Sounds exciting for the future! It's a really nice game man congrats, I keep coming back at it

Really cool game! I especially like the shield tile that stays additional turns. It's cleaver to make it so that it can stay even till next round. Also, the way you handled deck thinning is quite interesting since you cannot control which tiles are going (black merchant).

★★★★

I don't love the music though. Would deserve to be a little more punchy or something idk

Jasper is a little crazy broken ahah. I could beat every level up to the 20th in one turn each time with Jasper + Velrach. His attacks would deal 40 + 8× held mana (deal up to 64 dmg). Also since I only played Velrach with Jasper, my enemies only had red mana so I had essentially infinite mana. Could not have lost in a million years.

Still, I really enjoyed the game! Spent hours with these simple but fun game mechaniques. Would love the project to be extended. Especially like the dynamic between burn and poison damage.

I got the game to crash after beating level 48 hahaha

The strat is as follows:
- ignore speed
- boost defense so it's always way above your opponent's strongest attack
- only increase 1 attack face and make it equal/above to your opponent's lowest defense
That build makes you immune to enemy attack while your enemy is destined to a certain death.

Nice game idea. Congrats for the game jam. It's a concept that I could see to be extended. Definitely has potential :D

I really like how you handled your animations! It feels snappy and powerful, gets the point across and doesn't waste time.

I also like the spatialization of the card/tile stacking. Neat design

I really like this game! Lava Golem + Millenium Shield is crazy powerful

Such a wonderful little gem

Lot of potential! I love this kind of projects

Very charming project!

I really like that lv 5 poison doesn't solve all your problems

That's a cool game!
I ended up getting a busted build with a lot of double swords and eyes almost one shotting bosses hehe

The gameplay, sounds and visuals are really nice! I've never seen a poker-inspired game like this but it's awesome.
Maybe the "stand still" strategy is a little OP with every red/blue dealing/healing 3 haha

Not too bad for a first run I think! Still sad I couldn't get to floor 200 though.
It really has the same soul as the first game! that was a blast to play
