I've been thinking about this game quite often ever since I watched a playthrough of it in 2019, so I decided to buy it too. There's a song by Bring Me The Horizon called Dear Diary that always reminds me a lot of this game, particularly some lyrics towards the end:
"Dear diary, dog stopped barking, probably 'cause I ate its face
Tasty itchy TV says there's no more human race
Kinda sad my whole entire existence been a waste
