Sadly I am not sure what could be causing such an issue.  I was able to open the current game version with or without the itchio app.  Have you been able to open it without the app?

That's my bad.  I didn't finish converting the goblin cave to use the new interaction system.  Most interaction in that area will require you to use the "c" key.

Alright I've got these two issues straightened out and posted a fixed version for the game as well.  There were even more issues going on with the other chests in the forest area.  I should have those all sorted out now.

Thanks for your time and effort of going through the game in this state.  It helps out a lot.

This will take some more time to get working properly.  For now the best solution is to press alt + enter once the game is running to force it into fullscreen mode.  As for the crash, I'm unsure what the cause was.  Let me know if you're able to encounter it again.

1.  Should be fixed

2.  Should be fixed.

3 & 4.  That's my bad.  I didn't finish converting all of the interactables  in the goblin area to the new system.  You can use the "c" key to gather items and talk.

Thanks for finding these issues.  An updated game version has been posted which should fix issues 1 and 2.

What kind of bugs?

No new scenes have been added.  The last updates have all been focused on merging the existing areas, fixing the bugs that resulted from that, and adding exploration to the forest area.

Current version is now available.

Current version is now available.

In development.  Unsure of when it will be completed.  Current focus is working on a new attack for when the player is unarmed and exploration.

Probably the end of June.  I've been working on a new attack for occasions where the player finds themselves unarmed and adding items around the forest area to encourage exploration.

Glad you like it.  Seems like as the game expands not having some kind of save system is becoming more of an issue.  I'll see what I can do going forward.

Thanks for the feedback.  A lot of good ideas here.  Currently looking into what the next step of this project will be.  Expanding  the Tavern scenario is on the list among other things.  Hopefully things will continue to develop nicely.

I would think so.  Best thing I can say is give it a shot.

Thank you.  I'll keep things moving along.

Sorry you are having difficulties with it.  I haven't heard of this issue but I did some digging around.   I uploaded a new version tagged (black screen fix).  Hopefully this will resolve the issue.

That may be too complicated to implement.  But thank you for the feedback.

I appreciate that.  Glad you enjoyed it.

This scene was cut due to changes during development.  It is not in the tavern scenario.

Yes you found everything.  Placing the gem on the pedestal is the end for this version.  That entrance will eventually lead into a dungeon in a distant update.

Running is most likely not going to happen per se.  But I've added a movement speed upgrade for the player to find in the current build on Patreon.

Combat will likely remain an important part of the game.  While it will remain simple I'd like to add more tools and special items to increase the characters abilities.  Hopefully in the end making it feel less awkward to play.

Currently there is no enf content for the tavern section.  I've had some ideas but not sure if any will make it in.

Thanks for playing and the feedback.

Unfortunately that won't be possible.  The version of GameMaker I'm currently using doesn't have the option to export for Mac.  Sorry for that.

Thanks for the feedback.  I may not be able to implement those entirely but I'll take your ideas into consideration going forward.

Thanks for letting me know.  I'll see what I can do on my end for the next update.

Thank you for the nice comment.  I'm glad you like them.
