Really fun game! I played until floor 50. I couldn't stop laughing at how my character literally filled rooms with papers within 2 seconds. I wish coffee made me this powerful in real life

Very unique game concept! It feels like I'm running multiple instances of Warioware at once. It would've been cool if you could drag windows around so the minigame you're currently busy with didn't get obstructed by another window (but I suppose this was an intentional design choice). Great work overall!
At first I found the game overwhelming. However, upon playing multiple rounds things just started to click and I was having fun! There's nothing like figuring out who patient zero is, rushing down all 4 floors and finally finding your target just seconds away from defeat. Really cool game you got here!
Cool concept for a game. Sometimes my character got stuck in place in their run animation (I had to mash the dodge and sprint buttons to get them to move again). The game seemed like it wanted to focus on combat but I found it more effective to sprint past enemies to reach the shortcut gates in time. Despite all that, the game does have some cool looking visuals.
Pretty cool concept! The casino's models looks good too. It does feel a little easy in its current state. If the idea was expanded on in the future, I think the casino should start out with more money. Maybe more guards can appear as time goes by. You could also have red arrow indicators show up on the screen if a guard is getting close. My best time was around 40 seconds.
Hi, try downloading "dxvk-2.7.1.tar.gz" from https://github.com/doitsujin/dxvk/releases/tag/v2.7.1
After extracting it, place all the dll files from the x32 folder inside of your game directory. If that doesn't work, try installing DirectX and restarting your PC.

Hi there, it sounds like you're looking for v0.53, the last version before the game was cancelled and revived again in 2018. Here's an archive with some of the older releases. https://mega.nz/folder/SIhW2SaB#zlWWs11admeq_s72x4IqxQ
Out of curiosity, what changes did you not like from the newer releases?
That's unfortunately outside of the game engine's capabilities. The best way to stay up to date with the project is to join our Discord server. Our Youtube channel is another option but it's not always up to date.
The game is written in GML. I never used lua so I'm not sure how practical a conversion to it would be. It would definitely be easier to port MKF to modern gamemaker than any other engine though. That being said, we have no plans to port the game to another engine because of the large amount of time and effort it would take. Perhaps someone else will be up to the task once we release the source code after the game's completion, however.
