no this game has been abandoned

its still a pretty new game having only been out for less than a year I'm sure it'll gain a bigger following as time goes on 

Turns out the developer had to pause development because they don't have time. That's why the Patreon was taken down—since no progress was being made on the game

ah i didn't know it was a beta release. cant wait for the full release, love the game so far.

that's honestly a huge relive some the comments made it sound like the author benched 2 already established LIs to make room for Chika's story, which for me would have been a huge turn off for the game cause while I'm not a huge fan of Chika's story the other character definitely make up for it IMO

if im not mistaken all the content in episode 1 is in the episode 2 download

you have to go to the other bathroom for some reason if you choose to go to the bathroom that shes in the route gets cut off, not sure if its intentional or not

is the first half of chapter 11 available to the public or is it just for patreon members only?

I don't think so, the discord is still up and active. they used to do weekly progress reports but there hasn't been one since march, I'd hold off on labeling this as abandoned just yet.

extremely well put, this articulates my issues with the story perfectly. 

I'm not sure but I'm pretty sure you can turn on skip unseen dialogue in the settings and then just skip until you get to the new content

yeah then you might have to get her affection for you up by choosing different options earlier in the game, sorry hope you figure it out.

 im pretty sure there's a guide floating around somewhere I had trouble on my first playthrough too so i just used the guide to get the ones i missed

yeah thats not correct, NTR or netorare is a Japanese word that directly translates to "to be stolen" (you have that part right) or "to be cheated on" and it elusively refers to a scenario where a character's partner is 'stolen' by another person, usually sexually or in other more PG cases romantically a person you are not romantically or even sexually involved with fucking other people is not NTR neither is Mothers/childhood friends getting stolen because there is no sexual or romantic feelings shared by the 2 characters. but you are correct I completely forgot about her being seen leaving a hotel room with another guy, my bad in that case it is in fact NTR.

I get it it can be really difficult to keep your cool when you're frustrated, you never came at me with any disrespect so don't worry about that, keep fighting the good fight and have a good one yourself

I guess i haven't played the game in a while...and honestly don't plan on replaying it. I'm curious on how you know that 2 LIs were removed, if it was posted on discord or in the novel that the author published in the description of the game then i have no idea because I didn't read it and I'm not in the discord,  its very common for VN authors to focus on 1-2 LIs at a time per update.

 I 100% agree that if there's something as off putting as this it should be brought to the attention of potentially new players, my point with #3 wasn't to not bring up the the borderline cuckoldry that's in the game it was more a criticism of how it was being done, there's no reason to be hostile or throw out insults to people who disagree with you and honestly it make your point look weaker when you resort to insults.

anyway, truth be told I don't really care about this game anymore and probably won't pick it up when the new update comes out, so I'm gonna remove myself from this discussion, I hope you understand where I' coming from definitely let people know what they're getting  themselves into with this game just feel like it'll come across a lot better if you do so without so much disrespect.

1. I completely forgot about that blackmail part at the beginning of the game that threw me off when I saw it. thanks for jogging my memory.

2. while I 100% agree with you on the Chika point in fact im just not even gonna pursue her anymore, It should be pointed out that A. its not NTR because there is no romantic and exclusive relationship between the MC and her. and B. from a dev POV its hard to justify tagging this game as NTR since thats the only instance of any of the love interests having relations with another man so for people who like NTR they will be sorely misguided if they download this game with the expectations of there being actual NTR content.

3. this doesn't pertain to just you but i see a lot of hostility towards the dev and their supporters and vice versa and if the direction that the dev is taking Chika turns you off the game that much I don't see how hard it is to just say "hey not a fan of the direction of the game i don't plan on playing it going forward" and then just deleting the game, there are plenty of games out there that are exactly what you're looking for

in the empire server when youre making the bet you gotta choose to "test her gag reflex" if you win the bet if you dont choose that option you loose out on her path, thats what happened to me on my first playthrough, hope this helps

thats the standard. these devs aren't massive companies that have hoards of devs to pump out updates every month or so. odds are its just 1 to a handful of person(s) working on it when they can since they probably cant work on it full time

i havent played this in a while, what was the baseless rape accusation.

mid next month would be my best based on the timeline of the final teaser for ch6 release date and the release date of the actual update 

there was a project update as recently as June but the Patreon has been taken down so I think its been put in hold indefinitely

thoroughly enjoyed Once in a Lifetime

If I remember correctly the creator said a couple months ago that they are about half way done with the game so we can probably expect about 8 more update give or take 1-2 depending on the size of future updates

for me i just had to got to the library while she was there and it auto started the confrontation. also i'm pretty sure she has to be alone. hopefully it works out the same for you

updates take a while 6+ months in between updates is not uncommon if you want to be updated you can join the discord/patreon or you can just throw it in one of your collections and check the page every now and again
