I beat the game, I don't know how, but I did it. Mechanics are a bit confusing, but for the rest is a solid game.

 I noticed now the explanation on the page, I would also add that you can keep some doors open with the laser.

I also didn't finished the game. For what I saw it is quite fun, but yes in the later levels having to restart from the beginning is a time sink.

I don't like adventure games, but this is quite nice. Quite immersive, but not arcane.

I'm a bit conflicted, I love the kaiju battling loop and it's incredibly well done, however I didn't appreciated the platforming phase as much finding it a little to hard. However I'm not considering difficulty in the ratings since my group didn't have much time for balancing either.  This game split for two player could be mazing, with one doing the kaiju battle and the other climbing the castle.

Also the crab looks amazing.

I don't like this genre of games, but this is very well done. It has an interesting mechanics and is very well put together.
