Unicode was a smart way of working within the jam’s constraints, and I think you described really well the instinct to dismiss other people’s anecdotes and also to keep quiet about what’s happening, whether it be via pride, fear, embarrassment or something else.

Still need to get all the endings but this was an interesting and super quick read.

I really like how you used small text to convey whispers. Also the use of “.” “..” “…” to pass time and also force the reader to almost wait for that time to pass (I use a similar method in my own jam entry so it’s cool that someone else did it.)

Also a fan of the colours you used!

Really beautiful. I’ll have to give this one another read sometime

You totally beat me to it! It was so fun to get lost in the keywords for a bit. I did end up reading it in order afterwards though, I didn’t want to miss anything haha

I’m so curious about the taste I almost wish it was in an epilogue of some sort. An entirely different world to me (my Thai mum never served it so it’s hard to say if it has any relevance in her culture, though a lot of my favourite meals of hers are of Chinese origin) but there’s nothing more universally relatable than seeing almost sentience in the food your family dishes up anyways. For a quick read, the story of sharks being “conquered” and reduced to a soup was super interesting

Any platformer with the ability to mantle is great in my books. Super smooth gameplay with a smooth transition between screens. Good job, this was really fun to play!

Thank you so much! They were a joy to create :)

A second cow maybe? The antithesis of concerned or something like that!

This felt like a personality test, which really tickled a part of my brain that loves personality tests. The added touch of a main menu at the beginning was awesome, and the tressym encounter was probably my highlight. Keeping my eye out for that part 2

I usually do NOT like scrolling on a webpage to read one or two lines per scroll. But I will do it a dozen times and a dozen times more for this cow.

I got a bit curious and looked at the source because how you managed to do this with just html and css blew me away! Good job on the devs side. And of course just the premise is awesome, reminds me a lot of SIMULACRA with the mobile phone exploration

I can't imagine all the headaches that went into learning the language. Esolangs are so unhinged at times, I love it! Am I smart enough for it? No. So all power to you

I was using "live" because using "step"  confused me (totally just me being a bit dumb), so when the outputs started piling up it did become a bit inconvenient to scroll down to the latest output and then scroll up to type my next input. I get that those things are totally out of your hands though and it doesn't detract from the experience much at all :)

How you pulled this off is totally beyond me. Good stuff!

Agreed. I thought I just sucked, and maybe a part of it is skill lol, but the hit boxes are so big

Ahhh really cool atmosphere!
