It seems like the cells are 24x24. I'm really struggling to figure out how to make it *actually* 16x16. Am I crazy? 馃槄
Okay I've figured it out I think: you have padding of 4 px on either side of each cell, making it always 24 wide, not 16. And while the character is 16 tall, when it runs for example it reaches up to 19... which is also not 16.
So the 16 set is not a 16x16 spritesheet, because the cells are not all 16x16. I think?
Which is a shame--I like the style. It's just not usable if you want to use a 16x16 spritesheet.

I couldn't figure out how to do anything. I set up a push, ended the turn, and he never pushed! Then the baddies ran around the place and attacked me. What?! I think I just don't understand the game at all, even after reading the instructions.
Also, the audio runs very poorly. The music is very broken, and seems to be tied to the CPU/framerate, which is awful despite my good hardware.
Sounds like an interesting challenge. But I don't know how to even start...
Like, how is it not a case of design a game, write an adventure for it, and then post it without the game rules? Seems like it's going to take just as much effort as just designing the game in the first place. I feel like I'm missing something.
Any hints? I don't suppose you have an example entry so I can understand what we're meant to be doing better?
