Not sure how to replicate but it seems like wages don't get reset between job changes, which means they compound over time as you move to new towns, and maybe even if you just hop from job to job in the same town

Oh I know about that, I don't have an option for the current town I'm in though. I have five branches from the first five towns but the sixth isn't listed. 

The store is there but never staffed though
