Update: I have simplified the alpha request and prepared a clearer visual overview of the current build.

I still need 10 Windows/Linux testers for one 20-minute first-session test. If you are interested, reply with only Windows or Linux. I will ask for a broad hardware tier privately before assigning one individual access link. No real name, email address, NDA, or detailed system report is needed.

The three questions are now deliberately short:

1. Where did you first feel confused or want to stop?

2. Did your tactical, roster, and equipment choices visibly change the battles?

3. Did the build perform acceptably on your machine?

Thanks—you’re correct. The alpha build is intentionally restricted, but I mistakenly used its private page as the public information link. I’m separating the public preview page from the private downloads. If you’re interested in testing, please reply with your OS and general hardware tier and I’ll review you for a private key.

I’m looking for 10–15 people to test RIVAL PROTOCOL, a tactical team-management idler built around nonstop 30-second objective rounds.

Public preview (no downloads): https://tankster1990.itch.io/rival-protocol

You manage a five-role squad, develop individual operators, equip weapons and gear, set tactical priorities, and watch those choices play out in Team Deathmatch, King of the Hill, Capture the Flag, and Search & Destroy.

This is a private Closed Alpha 1, not a finished demo. Online multiplayer is not active. Some animation blends, two-hand weapon poses, and environment art are still pre-release quality.

I specifically need feedback on:

• first-session navigation and clarity;
• whether roles, tactics, weapons, cover, and upgrades feel meaningfully different;
• whether 30-second rounds resolve cleanly;
• performance on Windows, Linux, integrated graphics, and lower-power hardware;
• whether the management loop gives you a reason to keep playing.

The test takes about 20 minutes. Each approved tester receives one private itch.io download URL. Reports are opt-in, remain local, and never upload automatically.

If interested, reply with your OS, general hardware tier, and whether you regularly play management/idle or tactical games. Please do not post your real name, email address, or other personal information. If your public itch profile lists a safe contact channel, mention which one you prefer for receiving the key.
