it was all the way up until the kidnapping arc where I completely kept my stats and various friendships more as an after thought, where I really thought about if my choices really had groundbreaking consequences. I really thought ‘oh shit is my character gonna actually die?’ 😂 It’s also phenomenal with other things like the way that Charlie has a line about the player character being 25 if that’s an option you pick on his route, or the way the flavor text appears slowly after one of the dream sequences to give you a clue, or the way your menu completly changes when you choose someone else’s perspective on your kidnapping scene, or the way the game highlights certain dialogue options to help you out. Bc omg, have I never seen a choice based game have this many in depth moments that really pull in the player experience. 10/10 I felt complete whiplash after finishing the WIP. Phenomenal, amazing. Story, characters, gameplay, all of it.
