Thank you for your feedbacks !

Yeah, it totally misses some introduction and global explanation. I felt that it could be ok not having it in the game, since I ran out of time and felt that it could convert into the global uneasing feeling I wanted the player to experience, but It might be too much, as some other testers felt the same way.

Same for the sounds, I put them at the last minute, my bad haha. I wanted the weekend sound to surprise, but the pitch was clearly too high.

Thank you for your feedbacks !

Ah oups, my bad, I didn't realize it was unclear ! You just need to press enter at this moment.

What a creative game ! i loved this one. The script is really cool, made me think of Stanley Parable.
It is an interesting way of thinking a metroivania by reseting position at start when finding an upgrade ! It shifts the way you explore as you find new stuff.
I just had some issues using the tongue and the super jump (I played on keyboard, so i guess it didn't help)

Otherwise, the game was a blast, GGs !

Cool one !

Nice one ! The story and the plot are really cool  !
GGs !

Interesting game ! The writing is cool, and make the choices painful. The aesthetics are also pretty neat !
I just got a bit frustrated between questions, as I didn't understand why I couldn't interact with the game for a few seconds ?

Otherwise I really liked it ! GGs !

It's funny, I think we made quite similar games as we went some similar directions ! If you want to check mine, I would love to have your feedbacks !

Nice game ! The aesthetic is so dope ! The concept is simple but super efficient !

I just found it unclear and too difficult for me. I died 3 or 4 times before I understood I should not build any structure before 1st wave (I thought at first that basic zombies were just workers, and that I needed the cemetery to build warriors), and after that I felt that structures were rarely worth it.

But I could still feel the potential of the game, and it was still really fun ! GGs !

Thank you !

To be fair, Godot has really great tools to make a fake OS ! I mainly used pre-constructed "Prefabs" already in Godot, especially for the Windows. If you are interested in it, I would recommand you to see this conf on YT, where a guy introduced his fake OS project made with Godot :

It is so powerful in this way that you can make games like this :

Thank you for your kind words !
I'm glad you felt that way, that's what I was aiming for ! It isn't easy to do it in a few days, I was afraid to be clumsy in my design/writing.
Thank you again !

Thank you for the ref, I will check this one !

Thank you for your feedbacks !

You're right, it misses some explanations haha. I liked the fact that you could get lost through all the infos, and get uneasy after a while, but it might be too much.

Idk if I will work on it in the future, but for sure I will make bigger fake OS games with messages !

The humor is on point. It truly shines through all the mini games. Also the Art Direction is soooo cool ! The coffin/matryoshka pattern for all the characters is awesome haha

And what an amount of work to make that much mini games in one ! Impressive ! I just struggled on the dancing one, as I have an Azerty keyboard (and the driving one, but I'm bad at driving).

Overall, the game's atmosphere is top notch, and story through all the mini games works really well.

It might be my favorite game of the jam so far, GGs !

Really cute game ! Also it is really well polished.

GGs !

Really nice game ! I love how the story is staged. Having the characters with their facial expression drawn just above their messages is a really cool idea. Also the humor is spot on and works well. And the puzzle ideas are really creative, it is those kind of ideas that makes you want to try to interact everything with everything !

GGs !

(I also made a fake OS game, if you want to check it out haha)

Really cool and polished game ! An impressive amount of work, well done !

The LD and progression in general are Chief's Kiss !

Nice concept ! The art is really cute and polished. Really curious to see more, if you will work on it again in the future !

Cool game, the art is really smooth ! I love it when card games lets you grow up your deck through a journey, and this well done here !

The amount of work is really imrpessive, Congrats !

Cool idea ! Good job on this one

Nice one, love the art style ! And I liked the fact that you took time to write a story between days, it adds cool depth to it !

GGs

Cool game ! Like said before, it really gives a N64/GameCube vibes, mixing combat and a bit of platform/puzzle. A little bit of sound and UI would add a lot of comfort for the game, but there is already a lot of work in here !

Congrats !

Yeah, if I remember correctly, I heard the SFX talking feedback when I pressed the action key next to the stairs, and the character was blocked for a few seconds, then I could move a bit more the character, pressed action key again, and the same thing again.

I think I will try out the window version today !

Hahaha, thank you a lot ! :D (I am glad I quitted my previous job hahaha)

It was a blast to discover how to make a fake OS, honestly Godot is pretty well equiped for it ! If you are interested in it, I saw a Godot conf on YT where a guy showcases his fake OS made with Godot, I learned quite a few things with it ! (If you type "Godot conference Holy OS" you should find it)

An impressive game, the core loop is polished as hell ! i couldn't manage to leave the planet, but the game feel is sooo juicy ! Well done !

(And it gives a lot of a UFO 50 feeling aswell haha)

Thank you !!

Thank you a lot ! :D
I made those sounds when I was quite exhausted, I guess it helped to make them fun at last hahaha

Excellent hehe
Thank you !

Thank you for your feedbacks ! :)
Yeah, the amount of information is rather dense, and the rythm is quite high, but at the end I quite liked the fact that it puts you in an uneasy position. I though it would fit with the message I tried to share !

Thank you again :D

It works really well, I think it got good potential !

An wholesome game, I had a great moment playing it, well done !

An amazing work on aesthetics here. I love what you made here. I love the overall quality you put in the feedbacks too, it helps to make it really pleasant to play and watch. The general mood is nice. I just found it a bit difficult (couldn't go past day 3), and it is a bit rough at start to understand the mechanics (I might have been lost by the big block of text at the beginning). But once you get it, it becomes pretty fun !

Otherwise, the game is fun and wonderful, GGs !

A nice shift from Paper Please, well done ! I just would have loved to have a direct feedback right after taking a decision to know if I did something wrong or not, at least at the beginning, to verify if I understood well the game. But it is really small detail, I loved your game, congrats !

Really cool, it really makes you want to discover all the different endings, well done! Perfect for kids :D

Cool experience ! I love your drawing, plus the story was really intriguing. GGs !

Pretty cool game ! I love what you made here by mixing platforming and rogue mechanics !

Good job on this one, I love how you twisted your photos to make it pixelised/gloomy ! The bad trip feeling is there.

I feel curious about the fight mechanic you were planning on, would love to try it out if ever you add it to your game !

Cool one, I loved the animations you made and the humor ! It has a cool Inside (the game) vibe. Unfortunately, I couldn't get any further than the gas station :(

Pretty cool game, but it so hard x) There is a lot to manage. But it was still a cool experience ! I love the details you made in the animations and the feedbacks in general ! Congrats

Interesting mechanic ! It was frun trying to explore the level by switching between life and death.

I love your art style ! I could feel the character anger rising little by little. Also the little interactions were really cool !

I really enjoyed playing your game ! The character animation was really nice, as much as the background.
It is hard to make a game on a subject like this with little time, but you made it well ! The little stories from checking neighbour doors was really neat.
Congrats !
