What aspects of the coin collecting did you find problematic?
Perhaps a mushroom that runs away from the mouse?
Maybe add an extra step before you can collect one; You click a mushroom and some mini-game starts?

This game could have been amazing, but clearly the idea was too big for the 72-hours available. I do like the attempt though! Third-person controls are not the easiest to make so points from that! Just make sure to lock the mouse next time
When I tried to deselect or select a coin, my bet amount just kept rising.
The concept is good, and you used the limitation very well, and I like the art style a lot! But sadly the bugs come in the way of playing
