I really like the game. Played it with my regular group of storygamers. It was our first introduction to the firebrand framework.
The system made it easy, to establish meaningful and dramatic relationships between the characters - while building our setting.
Being new to the system, it was at times hard to keep the game flowing. This will surely be easier, with Mord system knowledge.
I recommend this game to everyone who likes the TV series and enjoys rules-lite, gm-less games with deep and changing relationships.
I really like the game for different reasons.
Layout and artwork are bright and colorful and match the positive theme of the setting.
This game is not about happy go lucky, treehugging stories. It is about real (emotional) wounds and all the trouble and heartache that come with them. The positivity comes from the way the player characters interact with it.
I like the freeform approach to storytelling - but the game gives enough structure and direction, so you won't get stuck.
I am sure, that you get interesting and emotional stories with healing and not conflict being the main focus.
This is the game I want to play with my non gamer friends.
So one questions remains...will there be a german edition?
