Hi. Thank you for the response. I think it's just the nature of specific midi files. I have managed to get some files to play now.  Great tool. It does sometimes randomly stop playing and then spams buttons while the macro is still running. 

Would be good if it had an "if instrument screen ends then stop macro" type code in there. Thanks for your hard work. Appreciated.

Hi there. Every time I add a midi file I get the following error (or similar).

'utf-8' codec can't decode byte 0xc3 in position 60: invalid continuation byte

Any ideas?
