Thank you, I'm glad you enjoyed the game! Yeah I should have put some kind of indication in the game that you can cycle through weapons, that's something I'll keep in mind for next time.

Thank you, I'm glad you enjoyed it! This is my first game that wasn't just following a tutorial, so I had to learn a lot to make this. I wanted to make it longer, but I ended up breaking the game when I tried to add a new feature a little before the deadline so I was spending a lot of time just debugging that issue and was too scared to add more things to it since the deadline was fast approaching. I definitely want to add multiple levels at some point.
Thanks so much for the kind words, it means a lot to me that you enjoyed the game! I appreciate the feedback about the bullet damage and changing them to sprites. I playtested the game so much and it became so easy for me that I had a hard time gauging the difficulty so I made the bullets damage more but in hindsight maybe a bit too much haha.
I like the art style, this game was really charming and creative. If I were to give some feedback it would be to make the player move a little faster since the maps are so big. Also the weapons should be given to you maybe at each level instead of the two at the last level, because I felt I didn't get enough time to test the shotgun before I got the blue gun.
Good game, feels complete that there are secrets and so many levels. The aiming is difficult since the gun is angled almost to the side but there is no crosshair. I actually really liked all the sound effects in the game. I thought the way you added intelligence as gold and a magnifying glass to detect secrets was a really clever, in-theme way to handle it.
This game is exceptionally good. So many great things like the art style, theme, level design and creativity. My only minor critique is after you open the first red door it wasn't clear to me that I dropped down because it's just so dark. I also found the wall running to be frustrating since sometimes I wouldn't stick at all to a wall even though I dashed into it. Other than those minor things the game is very complete, well polished and looks very professional.
This game runs really well in the browser, I like the art style. I think you should've added music though to go with the weapons and theme! Also it is very difficult I ended up just running past the enemies to clear the levels at certain points. This is very complete though, otherwise. I'd be interested to see you play the game on the hardest difficulty, killing all the enemies.
Definitely very creative and a cool idea. I really like the way reloading was handled. It's really hard though, too hard for me, I think because the movement is so slow and the enemy feels very fast compared to the player. Also it feels a little unfair when it seems like I should be out of range but end up getting hit still.
