tbf, making all of the abilities compatible with other things would make development take way longer, not to mention the time it would take to make new abilities and the like. It'd be cool if the dev(s) could pull it off, but it's just not practical.

The message is nice, but you should totally finish this game one day lol. It is a shame we're caught in a modern-day moral panic though

it's actually hilarious to talk your way through an entire fortress.
