You will need to create and load profile first. Once there is loaded profile click Play Game(give it some time to load)
Works fine for me on win10.
 If that not help i dunno, might be your antivirus interfering, corrupted download file or something.
Could you tell what exactly happening?(are you getting some error messages, game crashing etc)

What OS do you use? You will need win7 64-bit or later.

Currently there's only that one village scene as game demo, but i'll will add more in future. And about harvesting animation its definitely shouldn't behave like that. On what OS did you play? I tested it only on win10 64-bit, and didn't noticed such behavior.
