I'm not sure if it's an oversight or an intended mechanic, but I recently found out that you can, within a reasonable margin, set the machine to where he'll get close, and then repeatedly get set back.
IDK how to put into words, but essentially, there *is* a way to edge him. 

Has anyone aside from myself noticed that the uploaded image for this game in the search engine is just a fuckin' Gamecube?
