My name is Fionnuala Fisk, and I am following up about a charity bundle jam you contributed to back in June called HELLO//GOODBYE Charity Bundle for Legal Aid. It is now September, as you might have noticed! So I am writing to thank you for contributing and to give a short update about bundle timing. 

TL;DR: We are planning to go live soon (our goal is the beginning of October). We will need you to confirm the bundle once Itch finishes processing it, so watch your email! We will be contacting you again very soon. If you are no longer able to participate for any reason, OR are able to participate but don't want to be included in our social media for the bundle, please let me know at swanandravenstudio@gmail.com.

The longer version of why it’s taken so dang long: we were first in contact with our two non-profit organizations in June, but unfortunately, one of the two organizations had some staffing changes that slowed things down quite a bit. Add in some life changes from my end (moving, Covid, etc.), and now it’s nearly the end of September! But the bundle has not been forgotten. We finally finished the non-profit onboarding process, and it's in Itch's hands now. We're so happy and relieved, and we hope you’re still enthusiastic about being included. If anything has changed, please let me know at swanandravenstudio@gmail.com, and we will remove you.

In total, the bundle received 205 submissions from 115 creators, will cost $12 to purchase, and will run for a month from around the beginning of October. We’re hoping to raise $60,000 for our two legal aid organizations, Legal Aid Justice Center (LAJC) and Central Virginia Legal Aid Society (CVLAS). The two organizations do great work in Virginia, supporting marginalized folks facing domestic violence, deportations, evictions, and a whole range of other horrible problems. I used to work for CVLAS myself, and it was like drinking from a fire hose. There was so much need and so much money needed for it! So let's do our best to try to change that. Thank you again so much for contributing. 

So, with that being said, if you’re willing to volunteer with the marketing for the bundle, please let me know! I know we can definitely use the assistance. You can join our Discord server here, and we can discuss further. We also want to feature some of your awesome games on our social media, so please let me know if you DO NOT want your game to be featured on our account.

I think that about wraps it up. I'm so sorry it's all taken so long, but thank you so much for your patience. The turning of the months has only deepened the urgency of a bundle like this, and I’m really looking forward to going live and doing some good with our hobby. I'll be in touch again soon

The bundle will be going live this month. Got very delayed with admin issues, but they're finally resolved.

So sorry for the late reply! Was on vacation.

Tl;dr: no update yet.

The long version is that the employee who made the account for one of the non-profits has since left that organization, and the email address that they used to make their itch account no longer exists. I'm in contact with their replacement who has asked itch to change the login, itch said they could do that, and now we're waiting for that to actually happen. Things have been slow because of my personal life (illness, moving, etc), said nonprofit's turnover and general busy-ness, itch being generally slow,  and I assume summer vacations for all involved. But as soon as I have a proper update, I will let you all know. Very, very sorry for all the delays!
