hope this game works out for you, I really do think it has a lot of potential!

this is such a cool little game! i found it really quick after it got uploaded lol, only thing i would comment on is the combat system, its a bit slow and it bothers me personally that it takes so long to turn after an attack and that the attacks last so long, but i haven't really played many of these types of games before so that may just be me lol.
overall a really neat game, good job!
no problem! I personally have favor towards WASD obviously lol, but additional controls like 'interact' or attacks for me could either be 'e' , 'q' , left click or right click, simply because people usually enjoy having a hand on the keyboard and a hand on the mouse, its how people are conditioned and is usually how their hands are already positioned when clicking on the game.
Controls of your game is your choice though! everyone plays games differently, i would recommend a keybind system in the settings, but it is confusing and time consuming so if all else fails just think about how easy it is to switch between controls for someone playing games for the first time, generally good practice to make games as clear as possible so even if this is your player's first game they can somewhat know what's happening, you dont have to hold their hand but while designing, programing and building a game just keep your target crowd in mind
playtesting is a great idea, hand your game to someone not involved and see if they're confused. overall, your game your controls, but typically people enjoy keybinds near the WASD keys
(to be fair this is in context of games that also use a mouse, i can see that you intent on they game being played with two hands, in this case it does make sense, but for future projects with a mouse its just some food for thought, sorry for yapping lol)
i absolutely love the style and castle design! the only thing i would tweak is the player speed, because being super fast is great for some players but others might like walking slow and enjoying the scenery, i would recommend either lowering the speed and adding a sprint button for the speed runners or just giving players a bar to choose their speed, either way this game is really neat! good job!
