I'm sorry in advance for the wall of text this is going to inevitably be, but these are my thoughts after a few runs:
The addition of music is obviously nice. It's very fitting, and I hope we get a wider variety of tracks for the full release.
Seeing the amount of stuff planned for the finished game is great. I knew there was going to be more but I didn't expect all that. Super interested to see what's coming.
I like that the accuracy cone was replaced with a timer. I feel like it's a good mechanic to prevent hunting the pixel perfect angle, without making it too punishing. However, it did take me a few rounds to notice that it was a thing. Probably an issue on my end, but I'd prefer it if the timer was a larger, more noticeable, stationary part of the UI. Even when I was aware of it, often times I didn't keep an eye on it because I was looking at the green lines instead of where my cursor was. A bigger bar at the top or bottom would help me keep it in the corner of my vision. Maybe it could last a tiny bit longer but that might be too easy.
I like the shop, the whole system with money, stickers, holograms, and rerolls exceeded my expectations. I don't know if it's quite perfect, however I can't really point to anything specific I don't like.
A change I am sad to see is the limit to the amount of balls you can hold at once. I loved feeling like I was rewarded for careful early game plays by having slightly more room to make mistake later on. Now I feel like smart early game plays only give me a few dozen extra cents to play with, which isn't a whole lot in the long run. I'm not saying that there should be no cap to balls whatsoever, but maybe it could go up to 12 or something. Also, does hitting the cap take away the fraction of a ball I get from rerolls? That makes me sad even though it makes sense haha.
The meta progression and challenges are very welcome additions. Although I haven't completed any challenges in the demo yet, I hope that they unlock something in the final release. It doesn't necessarily have to be directly related to game mechanic, just something.
It was also nice to see, while going back to edit my Steam review, that you have taken a lot of the feedback I've seen and personally provided into account. It may seem like a given, but it's nice to see developers actively listening to their players.
Overall, I think this game is heading in a wonderful direction, and I am looking forward to what it and you have to offer in the future.
PS! STICKER/BALL is a great name, imo. The last one was kind of a mouthful but I assumed it was a placeholder lmao
