Hi MrOetzi,
For the Split Passive, the main essential of the power is that for the mechanical purposes of anything that would "effect" your stat sheet ie afflictions, stress, etc is shared because you are the same person, just in two places at once. The closest thing you could compare this to is how it works for Charity's Entwine from Tom's Virtue Expansion.
Now for whether or not both bodies get the "effect" really relies on both context, and how your table chooses to rule it. Like most things in core CAIN alot of things are up for interpretation as the narrative focus dictates the mechanics. So for instance I would say if a blasphemy power would deal stress to a Split exo, ie fury from an ally etc, then yes both take damage and therefore both are effected. However if a blasphemy like Hollow or Lift would target one part while the other was on the other side of town, I personally wouldnt rule it that both get effected. Its really just a matter of what works for your setting and what makes "sense" in the context of the story you are telling with your game. I hope that helps.

Hi Kevin! It is another Cain Supplement that is set to release on Halloween this year by a very good and talented friend of mine. There is a playtest for it out currently located in the unofficial CAIN discord.

Ty! Yes I have a whole plethora of typos to address. They will be fixed in the next version.

Hi Radio thank you for the question! Pathos will fade between sessions as it usually does in the base rulebook. Fueling the abilities for Guilt to be stronger is more of a secondary as opposed to primary tools. If you’re succeeding in all of your rolls, no pathos acrues and youre doing well. If you fail rolls, continuously get hurt, etc, your abilities now can be stronger/unlocked which is sort of the design philosophy behind it. However honestly if an admin and player decide together to have pathos exists between sessions for a Guilt User, who am I to say no? Do whatever feels right for your table and the rhythm of your missions/sessions.

Hi PreKrime!

Thank you so much for enjoying my book so far and I hope your conquest game goes well! To answer your question I will start by saying I have been asked the same question at a few conquest tables ive spectated. Something that ambushing mechanically does is put you at an unfair mechanical advantage over your opponent. If everyone wants to do that then sure everyone has that power, but sometimes there are those who just want to play fair matches. Those people often find themselves teaming up or creating alliances. While those who have been hitting the ambush button all game do not. And believe me when I tell you, 2 v 1s are brutal.

So honestly adapting that rule is totally up to you and your table! Hell I may even try to change it myself if the concern keeps coming up. But RAI (rules as intended) the consequence for an ambush isnt one that is mechanical, rather one I intended to be social, which probably can come across clearer/in a different way in my future update. If you want you can either euphemize that for your players OR just stick to that 1 a season limit! Perhaps it was an oversight for me to believe that wargamers believe in the concept of “fair play” lol. Let me know how everything goes and thank you for your question!

Hi Flying Crow! Thank you for downloading and enjoying my content! As someone who is a 1 person team there is definitely some typos/errors I missed upon my first edition here, which is why I thoroughly appreciate feedback like yours. I've been noting what people tell me and rest assured the next version will be a bit more polished. (For that specific example I need to remove the word "and" after the statement and bold the phrase "severely hurt someone close to you".)

I hope that the additions you include at your table provide alot of fun and cool narratives for you all to enjoy!!

0.5 Anniversary run over! See you guys in 6 months :>>>

Hi DBPi3!

Thank you so much for enjoying Let the Dead Rise! I am glad to hear the read has been fun for you. TSBH Stands for “The Step Below Hell.” Before I elaborate let me make this easier for you and everyone else who may be reading this reply:

https://itch.io/c/5016701/giga-satan-collection

This collection was made by Tom Bloom, creator of Maleghast. It includes content of the Core Game, Games for Freaks (which includes an additional facrion Tom has made), and three homebrewed expansion books colloquially known as “the big 3” on the unofficial maleghast discord server.  My book is one on there but so are two others! Check em out and good luck on your ghoul slaying journeys. Dont hesitate to ask any more questions if you have them :D Take care!

Hi Grey Ram!

Thank you so much for enjoying the game expansion. The key itself should be in the main core book (Magnagothica Maleghast by Tom Bloom) on the page where the haunts are located right before the factions, but it would be a good move to add a copy of that into my book as well for ease of access and transfer. Within the community ive worked on this with the symbols are pretty much universally known due to the key and haunts existing in the main book, but thank you for bringing to my attention how that may be confusing for new players. As a quick reference I can state here now that:

Spikes = Hazards

X = Wall

^ = Elevated Terrain

/// = Special Square

⭐️ = Treasure Objective

I hope this helps!!

Im gonna be so real I had this as a draft for a bit and forgot to publish lol. Update 2.0 has been out for a bit. Enjoy ghoulies!!

Hi! I am sorry to hear that this has happened to you. I am glad it works on the laptop version at the very least. I will check for myself in terms of mobile compatibility once I get home. Thank you for your comments and I hope the laptop version of the PDF is enough to suffice for now!

Hi DrRazno! Thank you so much for enjoying my HB and I am glad I was able to get you hooked! The heretical black mass ideas DO go hard and oh my god am I glad you bring that up. Maybe one day in a future update I'll draw heresy-Necromancers with the ideas given to me.
Thank you for the typo point out! I actually have WAY more typos than just that but I will be fixing it all up in the next update no worries. More to come your way so stay tuned!!
I was considering adding another set of rules that DO allow you to control more than one army/necromancer but as of rn and its silly, the number of pages minus the title is EXACTLY 69 (I was aiming for 66 but couldn't cram enough and thought 69 would be equally as successful). Ill consider the suggestion and even if it doesn't come out for the next update, it'll come in for sure. Keep on slaying ghouly pop, and take what's yours!! ⸜(。˃ ᵕ ˂ )⸝♡

Hi! So this is actually intentional to reduce text! The only feature of the cold-hearted trait is that it ignores Frost, that's genuinely it, and is referred to in the Frost section. I should probably do an errata soon but thank you for your comment and I hope you have fun with the factions!
