They're on desert trees. Right-click the light-colored leaves or fruit or whatever it is on them.

The Curse of Stone trinket gives 5 defense each, in exchange for lowering your move and jump. But if you're just going to stand in place during the worm fight anyway, that's not going to be much of a problem. Iron leggings (4) + iron helmet or propeller cap (5) + iron chestplate (5)  plus 4 curses of stone will get you 34, or you could substitute rings for some of the curses and bring some of that fish dish that gives you a defense buff. Fiber armor's even stronger, so if you can handle the penguins you'll have an easier time reaching 34. You don't even need exactly 34, just enough defense so that you have enough heals to kill it before it kills you. 34 is just brainless comfy.

NGL this was the real reason I stuck with the game XD. I only wish that when you crouched with the cardboard box on, your sprite ducked into it instead of squishing the box. Love that it flaps when you jump though.

The easiest way to no-skill it that I've found is to stack defense and use a Sunflower Sword and the poison book trinket, then pack a crapton of fish sandwiches. If you get your defense high enough (around 34?) the worm deals only 1 damage and then you can just stand there swinging your sword and healing up when you get low while the burn and poison does the work.

Wow, you must really like this game. I can't imagine spending 5 whole months just to beat a score.

Well, I haven't been interested in it for months, so I guess I'll leave you to it. Seeya.

I can't get over that the guy's name is Xenogears. Phew, it feels good getting that off my chest.

:3

I sent you an email, but in case it didn't reach you:  the Deep Quagmire of Abyss breaks if you do the Alchemist mandrake quest there. After you do the quest, the option to explore stops responding.

And when uninstalling the game, I got this error:

I tried uninstalling with Revo and it missed the updater and my save files, and who knows what else in who knows where. I'm feeling tempted to reformat and clean install, lol.

I found a bug. If you drag a card off one of the sectors, it starts getting destroyed. If you return that card to its sector before it gets destroyed, then go back to the menu and resume the game, the card's destruction timer gets reset.
